[CLOSED] Thyme (Rochester)

Flavoursome and really spicy, the Malabar Fish Curry is best enjoyed with hot steamed rice. Warning, it is not for people who struggles with spice. One bite of the Malabar Fish Curry and my mouth feels like it’s on fire. Then again, I have really low tolerance for spicy food.

A hidden gem in Rochester Park. The meat patty was tasty, the wedges was not oily and the buns were well made.

If not for #entertainersg 1-1 mains, the food will be subpar for the price. The #duckconfit while tasty was a bit dry/ hard instead of being crispy. It is also a small portion with simple boiled vegetables. But I did enjoy the pumpkin mash and wished there had been more. The #aglioolio was classic and flavorful with yummy tiger prawns, bacon & cherry tomato. But the pepper taste was a bit too strong

Tried their Pepperoni con Rocula - a thin-crust, freshly-cooked pizza, generously topped with pepperoni and a handful of rocket. Can be for sharing at 9”, but finished it myself 😅 Def worth the price ($12++ inclusive of soft drinks) given their service and ambience (good for dates 💕). They are offering this set lunch either with pizza, pasta, salad, or soup - a good variety :)
