Seafood was pretty fresh, I particularly liked the flounder! The sashimi was sliced pretty thinly tho, would have appreciated slightly thicker cuts. Rice was pearly and sticky, was of good quality! The set also came with miso soup, chawanmushi, salad with wafu dressing, and fresh fruits. Overall it was above average! I would rather have this over the nearby 2 Japanese restaurants, felt more like an authentic Japanese restaurant over those. Would return if I feel like having something more bougie!

A staple for any department lunch with cause to celebrate. Nigiri Ume lunch set ($22) was simple yet you could taste the freshness of the fish, well worth the price considering the accompanying tofu burger (not pictured), soup, salad, chawanmushi, fruits, and free flow green tea.

Aburi salmon roll with mentai sauce was very average. It was rolled with a strip of avocado and salmon. Too much rice, too little ingredients and not worth it at $18 for such a average tasting roll.

Unagi tempura roll was on discount and tasted okay but better than the aburi salmon roll.

Service was good but food was mediocre

Delicious! Love that the sushi rice is well vinegared and it is not tightly compacted

Had the chawanmushi $5 and unagi don ($24 on half price promo)
Have to say that im not impressed with the unajyu as the unagi was slightly slimey likely because they did not grill with charcoal. Nevertheless, rice was nicely cooked and of high quality.

Tomi sushi is one Jap restaurant that never fails to satisfy when you're craving fresh sashimi/sushi and authentic Japanese fare. The set lunches are especially worth it - and this particular one is my go-to everytime I'm here. Super fresh toro, and soba that is extremely chewy - just like the ones in Japan!
