Having eaten beauty in a pot, this is my second time having a collagen hotpot and I must say this is really super good.

We ordered original and sukiyaki collagen hotpot. You can see how the thick tofu-like collagen is slowly being cooked into a soup base. The staff would then serve you each with a small tea cup for the first taste of the soup before putting the vegetables and meat into the pot.

Other than the main dish, we also ordered nanbai chicken which is super sedaaaap. I mean what can go wrong with this nanbai sauce?! We wanted to order a second servings for this!

For drinks, we ordered bijin sake and mio sake. Bijin sake ($12) is a very interesting drink. The staff would pour the cold sake into the shot glass which would overflow into a wooden square bowl. So basically, we are suppose to sip the shot glass, and down the shot glass followed by the square bowl. It’s for good luck! As for Mio sake($16), they would pour it into champagne glasses for us and it tastes great! Like sparkling sake with a sweet fruity taste.

All in all, the service provided by the staffs were also great. We would definitely come back again.

Served in claypot, keeping it hot till the last mouth.

Beauty Collagen Ramen is another item that I like to order at Tsukada Nojo. Not sure about other outlet but for Westgate, it is only available on weekdays lunch.

Beauty Collagen Pot to make you a beauty.

This is my favourite collagen soup place to go. Would usually go for their set but since the menu has changed, we decided to go for their a la carte this time. Duo pot with original & tomato collagen broth, original is still my favourite. Things to note, set has complimentary one-time refill of soup and a la carte does not. Would totally order their chicken meatball & chestnut pork again.

For sides, chicken nanban & bacon-wrapped rice with cheese are my all time favourite. Swipe to the back to see!

Not sure how many restaurants in 🇸🇬 do this, but I realised this is/was happening at @tsukadanojosg_bijinnabe. Note that this photo was taken on 4th August 2020 at @westgatesg outlet, and I’m not too sure if they are still selling this now😂.

For those who don’t know what Meltique Beef is, here’s what I got from the official website: meltiquebeef.com.au
👉Established in 1984 by Hokubee Co. Ltd in 🇯🇵
👉Inspired by traditional French culinary method “Pique” which introduces fats into red meat to enhance flavour and tenderness
👉Offers consistent tenderness and a high standard of food safety, ensured and achieved by their own patented food-processing technology and their strict quality assurance system
‼️Differs from products such as Wagyu or grain-fed beef as they achieve intramuscular fat marbling through specific genetics and grain feeding programs

Hope you learnt something today😉

At $25 per pax, this hotpot came with a good portion of chicken, vegetables, prawns, minced chicken balls and noodles. Doesn’t sound like much but these ingredients were so fresh and tasty (maybe also because they were organic) and was rather filling at the end of it! Super fragrant and healthy collagen broth, and the chicken pieces were also really tender and sweet - pleasantly surprised as I would think that the taste would have gone into the broth! We also got the mochi mochi noodles which retained its chewiness despite leaving it to boil longer than we should. Very good meal! We left feeling very satisfied and nourished! Also good that they decided the portion for you rather than do it buffet style so you don’t end up over or under ordering!

Nikumaki Original and Unagi Fried Rice originally priced at $5.35 and $18.19 respectively.

Unagi fried rice was very flavorful. Just hope the seller could be more generous with their unagi.
