Had the Black Sesame Flower Dome and the Caramelia Banana Tart using Chope 1 for 1 voucher. Those who choose the Caramelia Banana Tart for the banana would be disappointed as the caramel was cloyingly sweet and masked the subtle banana flavour. For the Black Sesame Flower Dome, there's a hidden cavity of a tart fruity paste that I couldn't quite place, which doesn't really complement the prominent black sesame flavour.
The new additions are headlined by the petit gateâu and each of these little cakes features an elaborate layering of flavours and textures, expertly handcrafted by the pastry chefs. These new cakes include the Caramelia Banana Cake ($9.50), Black Forest Cake ($9.50), Red Berries Tart ($9.50), Black Sesame Flower Dome ($9.50), A Taste of Summer ($9.50), Chocolate Raspberry Cake ($9.50), together with new creations such as the Gula Melaka Bread ($9.50) and Banana Pound Cake ($2.50 per slice/$16.80 for whole 700g). The other signature items such as the Key Lime Tart and Hazelnut Chocolate Éclair will continue to be in the menu.
Among the new creations, the A Taste of Summer is the ideal refreshing dessert to welcome in the summer season as there are four flavours of mango, passionfruit, pistachio and coconut in a single cake. The layers consist of pistachio sponge cake with mango creamux, coconut mousse and passionfruit caramel cream, decorated with mango passionfruit and coconut jelly, and coconut crisp. Continuing with the tangy trend, the Black Forest Cakes comes with a layer of cherry confit made with Morello cherries and sweet cherries, Red Berries Tart made with three kinds of berries in raspberry, strawberry and cranberry and the Chocolate Raspberry Cake with a core of chocolate cremeux and raspberry jam.

Oh yes, the taste for bun was quite milky, thick and bitter for matcha sauce. But I didn't expected that they put sauce left and right position so that u can experience sauce flow out of the bread. I felt that its quite crunchy on the top of the bread and sweet due to the sprinkled bread. The bun need to be dry to dip with the sauce also. (8.5/10)
Haven't heard of?? Something I didn't as well and it was surprisingly pleasing, not diluted form but even creaminess.. Lovely soup to dip your toast in!
Faint buttery lamination + extremely flakey layers .. something u wish to have everyday.
I love the gentle sourness in the dough but the roasted beef was a tad dry and leathery. The mustard seed spread add flavours to the overall while the Brie average out the tanginess with a light salty touch!
Highly recommended: airy, flaky, faint buttery, I love the way it was created. Layers of clear lamination were crisps at some part, I have no question on the culinary skills of the pastry chef, GO for this, if u crave for a light version.
Be amazed by this moist dark gooey chocolate sponge cake encased in white chocolate bits.. it's not entirely fine in the sponge but it has been very rich and chocolatey to max! Be sure to try a slice when u visit Tuxedo!
Needn't dress solemn to be able to enjoy this "black-tie" treats. A composite with pure dark chocolate sponge and white chocolate cream coating is nothing more than u can asked for. Moist layers of cake with not too cloying white chocolate cream frosting sandwiched in between, the rich chocolate taste simply explode in each mouth. A to-die-for piece of cake- MUST check it out!!!
