The salted egg wings are on another level. Crispy and juicy, with generous amounts of salted egg sauce. So good. Read more at: http://eatify.blogspot.sg/2017/09/essen-at-pinnacle-high-class-food-court.html?m=1
We saw so many people holding on to a tray of these so of course we were curious. And when we bit into it, we could finally see why.
Chicken wings are always foolproof sides, but this has got to be one of the better ones I've had! They were fried so crisp that you could hear a satisfying crunch with every bite. It was juicy inside too, and while the salted egg yolk could be richer in tasting, it complemented the wings beautifully.
Love the ambience as well; nice to unwind with perhaps some booze in a comfortable airconditioned setting near the CBD, along with a variety of food stalls to choose from π». Definitely a good alternative if you have no feels for Korean/Japanese along the bustling Tanjong Pagar Road!
Ohhhh, sudden cravings for this messy pile of wings! Easily, one of the best fried chicken wings I've had in recent times.
There's something about that crusty yet not biscuity batter they use that makes this so magical. β¨And the chicken was seasoned just right, though reviews online seem to debate that. While the chicken was π, I've had better salted egg sauces, so I'll probably just stick with the original next time which goes so well with their chilli sauce.
So the chicken was great buuuuut we came during an off-peak hour and interrupted the cashier during her K-drama session. Did not appreciate the side of stink-eye with my meal πππ

This half chicken is priced well at $9.90 including the 2 sides. ππ @twowingssg
Our group of friends still refusing to eat their expensive reduced portion chicken wings even after a year has passed. π

Good food and awesome catch up with #JRT friends to kick start a long weekend! (And to feel less sad after releasing all the scripts to all my kids today too:( )
Salted Egg Chicken Wings ($16.90/12pcs)
Still mindblown by this plate of wings from @twowingssg . The skin is heavenly especially after being coated with their salted egg yolk sauce. When eaten immediately after collection, it is pure sinful enjoyment with the crispy skin and juicy meat.
Remember those days when you just want fried foods but feel a little bit guilty and try to incorporate some greens with it so your conscience wouldnβt torment you that bad? Thatβs what happened to me today.
π Salad ($8.90), Buddy Meal which includes 10 pcs Chicken Wings & Drumlets with Sweet Corns and Chilled Mashed Potatoes ($16.90)
And Deliveroo's Western 1-for-1 campaign this week (1-7 August) makes this a reality. π΄
Savoured the warm, crisp and tender half spring chicken from Two Wings. I was surprised to receive additional sides of wedges and onion rings as it wasn't stated in the order. Hard to believe that I got two of these portions for just $9.90!!! Because You Deserve The Best π
This time it's her take on what she says its the healthiest fried chicken in town that rivals her fav Korean wings! I am, of coz, referring to my own fav @twowingssg who can be found at #essenpinnacle ... Read her exciting round up at my blog today! :)

Overrated chicken wings. Chicken wings were crispy, but lacked flavour. It tasted quite flat with no shiokness at all
Chicken Wings everyone ?
Can i say another version of arnold fried chicken ? It is a bit of salty and damn full due to the oil causes . Should marinate with sauce to have a better delights .

Retains that same crispy better, and was quite juicy. The Chilli is the winner.
Having visited Two Wings at Bukit Merah. I decided to try their latest outlet at Pinnacle at Duxton. In an air conditioned environment, their servings seemed bigger and their food quality also seemed to have improved. I ordered a family meal with 8 chicken parts which were fantasticly juicy and succelent. With 3 sides, salad, corn and cheese fries and ordered a side of spam fries and popcorn chicken. Totalling $54. There was more than enough food for 4 pax and we had to get take home boxes too!
Excellent chicken wings from Two Wings!
When you first walk into the food court, you can observe people having these attractive golden coated wings and your stomach automatically reserves some space for those.
Once my order is up, I easily noticed that the wings are larger than the usual because of the size of birds they import. The size allows you to have that big firm juicy crunch as you sink your teeth into that wing.
What seals the deal is the chili. It's the chili one usually gets at those BBQ chicken wing stalls at the hawker centre. It goes soooo well with the fried batter. These babies go for 4 for $8.50, 6 for $12.50 and 12 for $24.
Maybe they should rename themselves as Four Wings? Because that's how many I would want to eat.
3 munchies: Some say these have gotta be the best chicken wings served in Singapore. I thought the paper-thin exterior lacked a good bite and required longer marination, albeit super crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Also, the diluted, watery garlic chilli that came with the dish did not do anything to enhance the flavours of the wings. Thankfully for the pint of Kronenbourg Blanc that made a better complement. I say, "One is just enough for me."
Not usually the kind to use absolutes and superlatives, but I swear the people behind Two Wings must be smoking something I don't know about. Their chicken wings are still piping hot 10 minute after arriving, crispy as hell, and bursting with flavours. Best thing is it isn't too oily! It's so so delicious and maddeningly addictive. If u're on a diet, don't start. Cause once you do there's no stopping.
[Tanjong Pagar] Our second stop during our hawkerhopping x hawkerpedia food trail brings us to the newly opened Essen At The Pinnacle, which houses several new and popular eateries serving European fare in a food court setting. One of the stalls, the famous Two Wings, which made its name selling finger lickin' and irresistible deep fried chicken wings in Bukit Merah has also joined the fray and opened an outlet there. When I took my first bite of the chicken wings (4 for $8.50), it brings back so much memories and familiarity as it tastes so similar to the ones that my grandma would used to make. I remembered a few years ago, we would always rush to the dining table whenever we knew that she was cooking her chicken wings. Now that she is in her 90s, she no longer makes them due to her health and the preparation time needed. She briefly mentioned previously that it takes good quality soya sauce, lots of garlic, ginger and an overnight marination process to make it tastes what it is. Well, now that she is no longer making them, I finally found a close match in Two Wings for my chicken wings fix.
Two wings which most said to be the best chicken wings in Singapore. 4 pcs for $8.50; find it pretty decent yet tasty. π
