The sushi rice was a little mushy this time round. Other than that, the sashimi was fresh and delicious. We also ordered a smoked salmon belly which was really good! The staff was very friendly, and chatted with us while the food was being prepared. A very pleasant experience in all:)

Another Burpple 1 for 1!
We got the roasted pistachio, strawberry and green tea flavoured ice cream. The roasted pistachio was sensational! Absolutely love the pistachio bits in it too. Strawberry was not bad. The green tea flavour was pretty substantial ~
Perks of travelling in Malaysia? Cheap and good food! These were so affordable yet tasted amazing! The yellow liu sha paos were really delicious. The chicken feet (not captured) were the best we’ve ever had :o
This dish was recommended by the owner, and they were indeed the best shawarma we’ve ever had! The exterior was crispy and the chicken filling was flavourful without being oily. We enjoyed their special coleslaw as well!
The owner was extremely friendly and chatted with us as the food was being prepared. Do drop by if you’re in Langkawi and fancy some authentic Syrian cuisine ~
What a genius creation this was! We really enjoyed the sandwich despite never having considered the possibility of unagi and croissant together. The sweet unagi sauce in the buttery croissant was a very interesting flavour.
The chrysanthemum softserve was light and refreshing. Really liked how it came with only half a waffle as there might have otherwise been too much waffle to finish the ice cream with. The osmanthus jelly was really nice too.
Easily one of the best dense cheesecakes I’ve had! We asked the waitress for her recommendation, and this was her cake of choice.
The cheesecake at the edges tasted pretty average, but centre was so creamy and soft... wow it was spectacular. The dollop of cream was light and milky too.
The cake was light and fluffy. We initially though it was marshmallow on top but nope it was just cream dusted with literally over-the-top tiramisu powder. Absolutely loved that the cake doesn’t have the typical overpowering taste of liquor.
A very decent plate of hokkien mee! It was neither overly oily nor salty, and the bits of lard were well received by most. Do give it a try!
What a stunner this was. Sandwiched between a thick crispy waffle were some whipped cream, fresh strawberries, and finished off with a dust of powdered sugar.
It was a nice sandwich overall. The buns were well toasted and we really liked the crispy bits in the sandwich. The dipping sauce that came with the fries was nice too. However, we felt that the sausage was a little too salty, and we had to drink a decent amount of water along with it to get it down.
