Just visited @koriosg for their Saturday Spesh! It's packed with ingredients such as confit chicken, maple glaze, jalapeño flavoured chips, cheese, shredded lettuce and potato buns. I liked the medley of flavours along with the different textures ranging from the slightly chewy potato buns, tender chicken and crunchy chips! I would have been happier if this was spicy because having jalapeño gave me that impression but this was a satisfying meal 😌

The fried mantou was crispy and fluffy inside, absorbing the gravy very well.

The crab meat was sweet and was yummy, just that the tomato flavour was a bit too strong and overpowered the chilli sauce. We would have liked it if the chilli flavours were stronger but the tomato is already mixed in the sauce and couldn't be separated.

These were fragrant, with the flavours of the butter complemented by the sweetness of the lobster

The chicken skin was crispy and went well with the green sambal chilli provided.

The egg tofu topped with spinach was fragrant and soft. The mushrooms added a nice touch to it too.

I loved how the hojicha and black sesame complemented each other well giving that extra nutty flavour. Do come early as they tend to get full past 2 even on weekdays!

This is one of my favourite teapot soups. The soup is flavourful and have a distinct flavour of charcoal too. This is full of ingredients such as prawn, tofu, mushrooms and gingko nuts.

These were extremely crunchy with the almond adding flavour to the fried prawns. This was very delicious and we enjoyed it a lot.

The soft shell crab was crispy and tasty, going well with the cucumber giving the roll an extra crunch.

Had a bento set with butter chicken which was creamy and was in a generous portion. A set comes with a side dish and a soup too. I had the cucumbers and they were very refreshing.

I started celebrating National Day with a hae bee hiam danish from @bakerybrera! It's filled with hae bee hiam, topped with cheese and jalapeños. I liked how the myriad of flavours complemented each other plus how the jalapeños added that spicy kick 😋
