Paid a visit to @artbox_singapore to try out dishes from the various stalls there! It was quite sad to see the low footfall and closed stalls…so consider paying them a visit if you can! Really liked this kurobuta pork belly bowl with garlic fried rice which is at a really affordable $9.90. Consider also the onigiri that comes with egg and spam, as well as the moo-ping which comes in three different flavours! Also really enjoyed the draft beer — tried their yuzu and chrysanthemum rum flavoured ones. The former had quite a strong yuzu taste, while the latter was milder but still has quite a fragrant chrysanthemum taste

New dry porridge @moostation.sg managed to bring a taste of Thailand here in Singapore! The soup was very flavourful, and the meatballs were marinated very well. Also very shiok to eat the crispy pork skin by dipping it into the soup. Great meal for breakfast or rainy weather!

The full breakfast set from @dough.coffee was surprisingly good! Highlight had to be the bacon chop glazed in maple syrup - super tender and juicy, with the right amount of sweet and savoury

The char siew from @88hongkongroastmeatspecialist was mind blowing then, and is still mind blowing now! The char siew was sticky and sweet outside but incredibly tender and soft inside. One of the best around! The duck and roast pork were good as well, but nothing particularly special.

You can’t go wrong with fatty tuna and uni! The omakase from @toriosg was pretty worth it in my opinion, as the courses are packed with quite luxurious ingredients.

This bowl of hot tang yuan from Ah Balling Peanut shop at Fengshan Market really hits the spot in the cold and rainy weather. You get to choose from various flavours of tang yuan, including green bean and yam which is more uncommon, as well as a choice of the soup (ginger, peanut or almond milk). Prices vary depending on number of tang yuan but generally affordable ranging from 2-3 dollars for 3-5 tang yuan per bowl! Their sesame tang yuan was particularly good and fragrant.

Thinking back on this massive crab from @kappousushi - the meat was super sweet and tender and the crab itself was a sight to behold!

The curious breakfast ($23.90) from @curiouspalette is sure to fill you up! It also comes with pulled pork which is an interesting addition to the standard breakfast sets commonly seen at cafes.

Kway chap from block 284 at Bishan always hits the spot! Each ingredient is super tasty, especially the braised pork belly which is so tender and always melts in your mouth! Perpetually always having a long queue even in the wee hours of the night.
