Uni pudding ($28++) from @lollasg always hits the spot! The squid ink seafood pudding is savoury and full of umami which is enhanced even more with the uni. Definitely on the pricier side but worth the indulgence once in a while.

Scallop, squid and herb pizza ($24.90) from @lavita.sg was so good and worth it at its price! Generously topped with fresh seafood which went really well with the herb flavours. Get even more bang for your buck with 1 for 1 using @burpple Beyond!

Honey garlic fried chicken ($6) from @pokpok.thaikitchen was so good! The crispy and garlicky paired really well with the sticky honey sauce that wasn’t too overpowering. Everything is really affordable as well. Would come back for good and affordable Thai food!

Capellini with miso cod ($30) from @cicada.sg was so good! Cod was very flaky and tender, and the thin capellini paired really well with the crunchy tobiko. All the more worth it with @burpple Beyond!

Always a treat at @ushidokisg. The beef tartare with uni and caviar was super indulgent and every bite was such a bomb.

Duck confit hash from @southunionpark ($21)! Duck confit was surprisingly really tender and soft, and the dish was full of umami especially because of the abundance of garlic slices. Yummy brunch item to have!

Love the skewers from @shukuuizakaya. Star of the night had to be the meatballs - juicy, tender and with the right of amount of fattiness. Get some sake to go with the skewers.

Crab roe sauce, uni, ebi, topped with a Japanese egg yolk (200+ THB) - so good on it’s own, and also very amazing with rice. Other dishes at this place is also incredible. Bangkok is really upping their Japanese food game!

The nori avo and eggs ($18.50) from @apollocoffeebar made for quite a satisfying brunch - consisting of crispy kale, creamy avocado and nori jam with fluffy scrambled eggs on the side.

Have been fortunate to visit @kappousushi twice, and have been amazed during each meal. Pictured is a mini ikura and uni don that was part of a multi-course omakase prepared by chef Aeron, whose bubbly and friendly demeanour also contributes to the great experience at Kappou.
