Toasted crisply and buttered, love the taste with the green sauce 😋 yum yum!

This bowl of boat noodles had a thick and rich broth. Was told that it was painstakingly slow-boiled for hours, using more than 15 types of herbs. It was indeed really flavorful. The spice may be too mild for some, but you've the option to request for it to be extra spicy.

I like their prawn cakes, it was thick and juicy, and fillings felt genuine. Was told that they were made of tiger prawns, and Cha Thai is good for theie tiger prawns dishes. Mop this up with a bit of the Thai sweet plum sauce which @wishuponatart was pictured holding it here. It was a great treat. Taken during a tasting.

The toast is lovely and crisp, though I don't detect much difference between the regular version and the charcoal version.

But the luscious, creamy dipping sauces are delicious; the pandan / screwpine leaf dip is floral earthy sweet, while the Thai milk tea is nicely balanced, just like their beverage.

Crisp deep fried spring roll sticks (that remind of of those little prawn rolls at CNY) with a crab cream sauce. Something about fried spring roll pastry that keeps me snacking on them addictively.

4.5 munchies: Easily one of the best prawn cakes I've had, the ones here at Cha Thai are made from tiger prawns and filled with chunky, succulent meat. For ultimate satisfaction, eat them super crispy and piping hot with the plum dipping sauce when served. Aroi sud sud krrrrrrub!

*Slurps* This dish was recommended in their menu. It was delicious, especially the roast pork that came with the rice had a very nice texture; it was juicy and crispy at the same time. *love*. We ordered: Tom Yum Soup (S$ 28) and Thai Train Fried Rice (S$ 16). Smear on some condensed milk if you like your desserts extra sweet. Even @jonathanleewe who doesn't like Orh-Nee, approves of this.
You may think "taro after hotpot's too heavy for dessert", but trust me, no matter how full you are from your meal here, you wouldn't wanna miss these balls 🤓

Yesterday's post-trek rewards! Saw this prata place that advertised itself as the best crispy prata while we made our way to the treetop and came here for our lunch. Definitely not disappointed as the coin shaped prata was really very crispy and fragrant! First time that I actually prefer plain prata over flavoured ones
