Get your cool on at this New York popsicle franchaise, which recently set up shop in the basement of Plaza Singapura (it's beside Awfully Chocolate). These popsicles are made fresh daily and free of preservatives and additives, and come in an array of gelato and sorbet flavours β€” yogurtPops and gelatoPops are $5.40 each, while sorbetPops are $4.90 each. The main draw is having unlimited dips ($0.50) and toppings ($0.50) β€” then again, you can only stick so much on one popsicle! If you're not quite sure what to order, Burpple Tastemaker Xing Wei Chua suggests getting the Green Tea popGelato ($5.40), dipped in milk chocolate and topped with chopped almonds.

Combine everything you love about froyo and coconut ice cream and you get frozen coconut, or Froco for short. This takeaway stand in Plaza Singapura doles out all things coconut from parfaits to smoothies and coconut water. The young coconuts used here are harvested straight from their own plantation in Thailand, and all the items are made with 80 percent coconut water. Its offerings are also low in dairy content and fat, making this a refreshing yet healthy post-meal treat. Order the FROCO Frozen Coconut ($3.80 for short cup, $5 for tall cup) and top it off with the likes of homemade muesli, fruits and chocolate ($0.80 per topping). Otherwise, share the COCO Parfait ($6.50) with a friend β€” it comes with three generous servings of toppings!

This Simpang supper hotspot is gaining a steady reputation for this one thing β€” Prata Coin ($7). Unlike regular flattened pratas, these come coiled up to look like coins, and every bite presents an unbeatable mix of crisp golden exteriors, soft and fluffy insides and the unmistakeable fragrance of butter. The icing on the cake however is the accompanying mutton curry, which is more than just an afterthought like in so many prata shops. The curry here is extremely flavourful and generous with chunks of meat, and it pairs fantastically with the prata. After his first bite, Burppler Dixon Chan actually excitedly shared the news among five Whatsapp chat groups β€” it is THAT good.

The food line and pace may seem Subway-esque, but you step into A Poke Theory and you'll be getting the freshest, the tastiest and the best produce. From sizable chunks of premium sashimi-grade fish, healthy toppings like kale chips, housemade spiced cashews, to the sweetest Peruvian pomegranate β€” step aside salad bars, this may be just the place to head to for a truly healthy and quick lunch. Of the four 🐠 options, my fave's the Spicy Sesame Tuna. It packs just the right amount of punch to stay refreshing and discernible amidst all the other ingredients. Those who like something milder and creamier, yet no less tastier, may enjoy the Avocado Miso Salmon.

This no-frills restaurant next to Merely Ice Cream serves pocket-friendly Thai food, making it a hit amongst the students in the vicinity. Come with friends and order the Basil Pork Rice ($6), topped with a sunny side up egg, and a Tom Yum Goong ($10) to share. If it's available, have the Mango Sticky Rice ($5) before washing it all down with a cup of Thai Milk Tea ($1.50).

Mad love for that sweet sour spiced pumpkin sauce.

Personal favorites are thai milk tea & matcha roll which taste much better than the ones I tried in HK.

From Atlas Coffeehouse situated at 6 Duke's Road by the people behind Assembly Coffee. Described as "Glazed Salmon, Soba Noodles, Fried Egg" on the menu, this was a Japanese-inspired dish that replicates pasta. Buckwheat Noodles tossed with a hint of Nori flavour, the noodles were done al-dente while the salmon was well-marinated and carried a savoury, strong grilled flavour though the skin could be perhaps crispier for better texture. What surprised me was the fried egg though; totally crisp on the underside for the white which made it pretty intriguing!

I went for a Jap/Korean flavor bowl with soba noodles, pan seared tuna, butternut squash & sweet potatoes, wafu tomatoes & kimchi apples with a sprinkle of furikake! πŸ˜‹ Though on the higher end of the pricing radar, this bowl kept me full for longer period of time & stopped me from snacking the whole afternoon! Just in time to lose some pounds for Christmas & weddings next year! ☺️ @naiise

An extremely delightful experience. We paid $39 for everything here and I would say that it was worth every cent. The berry ricotta hotcake was delectable, the fruits atop it were surprisingly sweet. Might be a little 'gelat' for one so I highly encourage sharing. Cauliflower Fritters were πŸ’―πŸ’―, a unique dish that did not disappoint at all!

The texture of the meat is very fresh and succulent with a hint of sweetness and the butter sauce is very much to my liking too. This is a new dish that is off the menu and it is only available by phone reservation from 10th Dec to 21st Dec.
