Stuff that the owner himself prepared for us to bring home from the workshop. These stunningly designed bottles contains Cold Brew which were brewed by the owner himself, which we were honored to be the first to try out before they launch it on the menu. Each bottle contains a very concentrated concoction; recommended to have over milk or ice. It's got a caramel-like sweetness and floral accents as well; an interesting mix of flavours. Also presented to us are sample packets of assorted granola from Eastern Granola; got the Milo Granola which gives a chocolatey taste to it!

I fall in love with this Lemon Yogurt Cake, a lovely tangy lemony cake that is not too sweet as it has natural yogurt in it. One slice is never enough! It is so wonderful and luscious!

Cinnamon brioche toast with Matcha Puree and Thai Milk Tea icecream. Interesting match. The cinnamon toast itself is quite nice. But the Matcha Puree and Thai Milk Tea icecream can be a little stronger in taste.

Cosy comfort with the feeling of Easter. .

Would be cute if there were live bunnies hopping around. 🐰😁

Yummy end to my school week! Two scoops of ice cream - choice of vanilla / Thai milk tea / Thai milk green tea! ($8.90) boo, just found out what I've been missing out on during my 2 months internship.

The Klatch is located on the second story of a shophouse along Princep Street. It may be a little tricky to find, but once found, you're in for a good cuppa made with beans from Tiong Hoe Specialty Coffee, and a time of quiet in a laid back environment. Great for reading, work (they have free wifi!), and times of quiet reflection.

Cookie-like tart base that does not fall into a million pieces when broken apart, and neither felt heavy as well. Lemon curd was tangy enough but still maintained a bit of egginess for a bit of sweetness. Fluffy torched meringue was not cloying sweet and added a subtle sweetness to the tart.

Phil, Wendy and Wanting took over a 60-year-old Chinese provision shop called “Hup Seng” when its owner retired. The cupcake parlour is now in soft pink, with a touch of old charm from the former shop’s vintage signage, old school cupboard and folded door. Here's a photo of cupcake. Works so well on hot sunny days! Really like Cafe Pal's version of the milk tea - rich yet not too sweet. Yum!

Soi55 is a new stall at Market Street Food Centre that sells Thai tea and coffee, with various toppings to go with it. The most unlikely combination but it kind of got me. The milk coffee was sweet with lots of milk; the way Thai does it best, and the tapioca bits added another dimension of sweetness and a chewing sensation. Think of it as a Thai version of Bubble Tea and it would seem less unusual.
