And I just found their branch at Publika! Quite hidden but it had quite a nice atmosphere and very kid friendly. Just on the same floor as Namoo Cafe, right opposite them!
Recommended by the waiter, this salad consists of a mix of mashed and diced avocado, diced tomatoes and peppers, diced poached chicken, delicious crushed walnuts and raisins; all served on a bed of lettuce. The mashed avocado was already a nice dressing, but it was also tossed with minimal amount zesty mustard dressing.
One more favourite salad, added to the list!
Food: 8/10 Price: 8/10 (RM 28 - this was one big salad served with a side of bread. I had to takeaway half of this. But I enjoyed a nice serving of salad the next day too!)
Swing by this standalone joint for the delightful south Indian grub and stay for the swanky vibes. This spacious bungalow along Lorong Maarof is a great spot for celebrations with friends. The dishes on the menu are good for sharing, and there’s plenty worth trying, from the pleasantly sweet Madurai Vegetable Biryani (RM28) to the creamy Pachakari Kuruma (vegetable curry, RM18), plus non-vegetarian dishes like a spicy Keralan-style chicken curry, Mahabali Feast (RM25). Gajaa at 8 also has an in-house bar — the aptly named Whiskeypedia houses an impressive line-up of whiskies, including one from India.
It’s pricey for just three prawns, but each crustacean is fresh, plump and cooked well. I love the dukkah it comes with. It’s so flavourful and the salty olives work really nicely with the sweet prawns.

The Eighth Avenue is a new bar and restaurant in Publika run by a couple who lived in Perth for 10 years. Inspired by their experiences and an interest to venture into the F&B scene in Malaysia, they create quality dishes at a decent price point. Start off with Angels & Demons (RM14.90), a super popular salmon and bacon bar bite. For mains, go for their rendang pork rice served with charred nasi impit (RM37.90) or Cheeky Beef (RM35.90) — tender braised beef cheeks served with sautéed vegetables and potatoes for something mind-blowing yet comforting. Come here after work with your colleagues, or gather your friends here on a Friday night, there are plenty of drinks on The Eighth Avenue's menu cure your weary soul.
This stylish cafe is placed high on the community’s list for tasty brunch, coffee and good vibes. The stunning space is fitting for any occasion, whether it's quiet time over coffee or casual business meetings.

Chicken teriyaki sandwich (RM18) that filled up with massive amount of mushrooms, teriyaki sauce and chicken on sandwich. In terms of taste, it's actually basic teriyaki sauce that you can get it from those Japanese shop. But if you are mushroom lover, I strongly recommend that you should try this. The texture of the sandwich might be a little bit of hard. However, can't denied that it is very filling. Recommend to share with your buddies. Cappuccino (RM10) was cheap compare with other cafes. Parking might be difficult here, especially during working hours.
Under the specials menu you’ll find this lovely dish of five juicy spiced lamb meatballs with beetroot hummus, Turkish bread, pickled veggies and sautéed asparagus that’s served with a mint yoghurt dip. This dish is a flavour bomb – the refreshing dip helps cut through the meatiness of the lamb, while the pickled greens provide contrasting bright flavours.
I love how the kicap manis glaze is evenly distributed on all the corners of the ribs and needless to say, it's cooked to perfection! The lime is a really smart touch because it cuts down the sweetness a little. Awesome job!

Probably the dish that we enjoy the most during our visit. The fried chicken with waffle, sunny side up and baked bean. Honey was drizzle on the crunchy fried chicken to add a bit sweetness to the savoury dish.
Le Bistro 33 offers variety of French-Italian cuisines, serving everything from platters of sharing cured meat, pastas, steak to dessert.
Being faced with too many delicious options to choose from, their friendly staff came to rescue their overwhelmed customer. I was recommended to try out their chef's special of Smoke Platter (RM98/2 pax, RM49/1 pax) which is their very own house smoked chicken, pork tenderloin and duck breast. I am not a fan of stuffing myself with a lot of proteins in one meal, but their protein platter really worth the try! All of their protein meals are tenderly cooked with hint of smokey, black pepper-ish taste. The portion is quite big even for 2 people sharing, so I would suggest that you ask the staff for 1 pax portion if you are sharing with someone else, their friendly staff will happily assist your request.
And it comes to my favourite dish! This one also came from their chef special, Pork Tenderloin with Mushroom and Mashed Potato with Truffles (RM 35). It was pork tenderloin cooked with white wine and mushroom, served together with smooth truffle mashed potato puree. I would say that their truffle mashed potato is really really mindblowing!!
I also tried their thick, creamy pumpkin soup in which they served with breads (RM18). Overall taste is OK, not too watery, not too thick, the texture is there.
They also offer variety of wines and alcohols, and have happy hours.
