This place has so much more potential than it’s actually doing now - maybe a more affordable brunch menu ( the brunch menu items are now like 18 dollars 😆) and more variety of avocado 🥑 items like an avocado soft serve or avocado pancakes 😂?
Located next to Thomson Plaza is this cosy avocado themed cafe serving up avocado spins on mains to low glycemic index dessert. The signature Avocado Rhapsody Slide ($6.50) layered moist cocoa sponge and light cream cheese with chunks of avocado in-between. Popular choice Avocado Nutty Galore ($8.90) was a thick milkshake blend of delicate flavored avocado with strong roasted nuttiness. Owners were friendly and kept flavor profiles of their creations true to the superfood - rich and buttery, with ingenious complements.
Healthiest dessert ever. Chill ambience w jazz music. Overall 7/10
High tea set ($12.80): I choose Avocado Rhapsody for the cake + Apple Black Tea. Nothing special with the cake, a little dry. Tea was good.
Avocado Nutty ($8.90): super filling drink!!! Taste just like oatmeal but w avocado and little nut taste. No sweetness. It can actually fill your tummy so it’s good to share!

I had the Avocado Chocolate Ganache and Signature Avocado Rhapsody slice. Love the mix of something indulgent with the healthy avocado. Must try must try at all the batter. (:
We ordered their signature Avocado Rhapsody Slice and Avocado Nutty Galore. The cake was moist, but there was nothing special about it. Was disappointed by the Avocado Nutty Galore. The taste of the nuts overwhelmed the milkshake. We had to ask for more chocolate syrup to make it more drinkable.

The Avocado Rhapsody slice took us by surprise with its lovely combination of cocoa cake with fresh avocados and rich cream cheese. The unique combination of flavours were not overpowered by the cream cheese as well.
Its definitely worth the $6.50! =)
Avocado Rhapsody Slice - which had alternating layers of chocolate cake and avocado buttercream. The chocolate cake was moist and yummy, while the rich avocado cream was slightly buttery. Embedded in the buttery avocado cream are chunks of soft avocado.

We had the avocado nutty galore (smoothie) - honey content cut half , whip cream removed . It was refreshing, healthy and rich in flavor and an excellent replacement for a milkshake . The salmon avocado toast used smoked salmon that was not too salty and the lemon wedge was a right size to drizzle the right amount of juice to cut the heaviness . The smashed avocado was fresh ! But the toast was soggy , chef might need to find a solution to keep the toast crispy with nice crunch factor .
The avocado chocolate ganache $9.50 is something different from the normal smoothie and the signature avocado rhapsody slice $6.50 is yummy! Definitely worth the calories.
Avocado & chocolate drink . There isn’t much chocolate that I could taste in the drink, just the drink can be a little filling, creamy texture.
Avocado Rhapsody cake. A mild cake that isn’t sweet and has a fruity aftertaste.

The combination of Flavours within this cake was a winner for me.
You have the creaminess from the avocados 🥑, the slight tartness from the cream cheese and a deep earthiness from the cocoa sponge. The cake had a natural sweetness and by my strict standards, it's one of the least sweet cakes that I have eaten in a long long while.
The cake is so carefully and neatly made and each layer is so well represented .
A very wholesome dessert experience with hearty - good fats .

Stated as "only available on weekends" not because it's not just simply not available on weekdays, but rather because their new branch at Jasmine Road is only open on weekends. That aside, the Avocado Gula Melaka Cake is a delight to have. Here, the buttercream is infused with Gula Melaka; the buttercream itself is actually well-balanced with a whiff of Gula Melaka sweetness so it's not as jelak as the regular buttercream that can be a little oily and too buttery for some. Coming layered and the right proportion, it works in harmony with avocado cake which carries a light hint of buttery avocado amidst the moist cake of adequate density that counter balances the soft sweetness from the Gula Melaka buttercream. In fact, I must say that the cake is very well-executed for one that only costs $5.90 — certainly priced competitively and makes it a little more attractive to hike up to its slightly hidden location up at Upper Thomson.
This signature is made up of a medley of fresh avocadoes with fluffy layers of cocoa cake & luscious avocado cream cheese, textured & crunched up with hazelnuts, walnuts & topped with more of the unrivalled fruit. Can't get any better than this 💕
