Affordable Thai steamboat buffet with a lot of meat! It’s good for a gathering meal but the place is a bit out of the way~

Weekday Mookata Buffet $17.80, Weekend Mookata Buffet $20.80 without any GST or service charge. For $20.80 Mookata Buffet package, you get to choose between pork and chicken varieties. For $28.80, you will get more premium ingredients such as Snow Flake Beef, Mussels, Bamboo Clam and Prawns. For an additional $2, you can add on Nacho Cheese Dip or Salted Egg Dip. There are several Thai chilli sauces to complement your meats. The best part is you can eat to your heart’s content in an air-conditioned environment. Definitely one of my favorite Mookata Places!

We stuck with the $17.80 buffet for weekdays (+$5.10 premium promo) and were impressed by the air-conditioned comfortable environment (2nd stall further down) coupled with pretty superb service attitudes. Marinated meats were tender and flavourful and I especially loved the fish meat stuffed with crab roe!
Ps come here preferably during mon-tues weekday night

If you're looking for something cheap and decent, this is the place for you! Meat served doesn't have any strong rotten meat smell unlike some mookata

Their Chiang Rai-marinated meats are flavourful and fresh, with an extensive selection of other ingredients. What ties everything together is their delicious, almost addictive Thai dipping sauce made with coriander and chilli; the balance of salty and sour complementing the gnarly pieces of charred meats so well. (P.S. the intense brown of our stock is achieved by constantly deglazing the grill and dutifully scraping the charred bits of meat and fat off the grooves, into the trench of soup, and simmering for 3 hours.
