A beautifully crated croissant that is shaped like a couple's pillow; filled with a blend of yam, pumpkin and nian gao
.
To be honest, I couldn't really taste the yam and pumpkin flavours but I did get a huge slab of nian gao in this. So, nothing to complain about

Embracing the Dragon theme, this adorable dragonfruit shaped bun is filled with raspberry cream
.
This felt like more of a choux cream puff with raspberry cream filling. Perhaps one of the better theme items I had in BreadTalk

Embracing the Dragon theme, this "dragon prawn" bun is filled with a delicious blend of crawfish, potato, prawn and mushrooms and then coated with paprika powder

Upon my few bites, I had a weird bitter taste. Not my liking

How do you make a pandan cake extra Singaporean? You slather gula melaka all over it. BreadTalk's new Pandan Gula Melaka Crunch comes with pandan chiffon cake covered in gula melaka cream and topped with gula melaka crunchy bits.
The pandan cake itself is sweet and fluffy with a nice pandan fragrance. The gula melaka cream is also sweet and aromatic with a hint of coconut. I do find that the combination of the pandan cake and the cream makes it a little too sweet for me, especially since the pandan cake on its own is sweet. However its still a pretty good cake for pandan and gula melaka lovers.
I still prefer the classic pandan cake from bengawan solo but this is a nice cake!

It's quite average, the mango layer was abit dried and was pretty alright but u can't taste the coconut either. Actl the mango flavour wasn't v prominent either
It's passable but felt they played it abit safe. The peanut butter was sticky yet could have been a bit more shiok, the jelly was good but there should have been a bit more of it.
What's more it's v rare this cake comes sliced haha
Fluffy bread but the custard wasn't nearly enough to go with the bread. Best to dip it in something after u finished the parts covered in custard!
New item(kinda)
It's really pretty good, the brown sugar and prune tastes meld perfectly, and the prune jam layer was well balanced on its own too, not too sour at all. Worth a try!
Pretty decent mango cake, the mango jelly at the top had a nice flavour. Could have had a bit more mango taste. Tho coconut was just coconut flakes, so it's a bit of a misnomer
The sponge wasnt too airy yet it was super soft, pretty impressive. No wonder it commends such a price, particularly since it's quite a small portion(feeds 4). Well studded with bits of sweet fruit as well.
Took my second hae-ppy floss to finally realise that this wasn't the usual spicy lol. Not that the hae bi hiam was super mild but guess I just didn't notice. If u knew I guess the "sambal" taste was pretty obvious haha. Otherwise q standard
Not that good. Corn filling was OK but the green part was hard and the crumbs were bristle-like, doesn't enhance the texture of the corn bread at all
A moist sponge that had the right amount of denseness. Matcha wasn't too strong but was fragrant enough, and the lovable yuzu was a refreshing addition. Rather satisfying
Not very sure about the price but I sure am in love with it!!! Really moist cake bordering on wet(I guess it's not gonna be everyone's thing) with a very vivid caramel taste. So simple but so incredibly good! Really quite surprisingly to find a cake that's so up my alley from a chain. Price is also extremely reasonable too
DK why it looks like an apple but doesn't taste like one lol. The pastry was closer to bread which I personally prefer but felt it was slightly dry and dense. The custard(inside) is not sweet so all the sweetness comes from the kaya
