A pottery date with a cafe lunch! I would say that Cafe Melba has a huge portion and if you are looking for a meal to share, this might be the right place!

We ordered the Full Melba Breakfast and Good Ol’ Beef Burger, and oh god, we are so full! I would say that their breakfast is like any cafe’s big breakfast, but what I love about it is, you can change out some of the sides!I changed out my red beans for stirred fry mushroom . The sausage and hashbrown tasted good, with the mushrooms that were juicy and big!

As for the Beef Burger, you could choose your doneness, which I appreciate about my burgers, and they are so huge that it is impossible to eat the whole burger in one bite!

Satisfaction : 🤤 🤤 🤤 🤤
Price: $25/pax (excluding drinks)

A hearty brunch with the full works that was bursting with flavours. It was a super filling and tasty spread that even had hashbrown, which was a rare sight and I loved it. 🥰

comes with three dips but the olive one really did have an acquired taste, the other two were amazing thou - even ate them with our truffle fries hehe - loved the crisp of the bread and it would be a great side dish to add some texture to your mains! also very impressed by the ambiance of the cafe, perfect for family/friend gatherings!! 💯🎉

Pour yourself some extra syrup." Featuring Banana 🍌 waffle from Cafe Melba.

The eggs were flowing with yolk but it wasn't a brunch that wowed me. Prices of the food were on the steep side but what I wished they could improved on was their efficiency.
I arrived at 1pm and there were a lot of empty tables yet everyone was waiting in the queue. The kitchen seemed to be unable to handle a half filled cafe as I was told the waiting time for food takes an hour.

Aussie home style mignon steak, wilted spinach and white asparagus. Abundant of truffle but works just as well without.

The overall quality of the sandwich is better than expected. Excellent in terms of flavours and surprisingly instagram-genic. We had a good debate on the casual, bordering run-down setting of the cafe and how that may or may not appeal to the different appetite of customers. The serving was comfortable though smaller than the regular stack of cured beef expected, but I am not complaining at all because it’s the delicate balance of being just slightly not enough that leaves you carving for that little more.

Place is excellent for families with kids as there's a big field beside for kids to run about. Food wise is mediocre at best, had the Fish n Chips, Parmigiana Chicken which are uninspired. Definitely not worth the high price tags. Good for 1 time visit for me. Thanks but no thanks.

$30/pax. Had brunch at Cafe Melba over the weekend and boy did everything look good. The portions justify the price (at least $20 per main), so go with an appetite. The sweet potato fries were well-fried. I had the roast chicken ($24) served atop a bed of roasted vegetables. This is a great family-friendly place to come if you have a child with abundant energy and need some sun- the bouncy castle and field next to the cafe is perfect for kids to expend their energy while adults brunch.

A good Reuben sandwich is one which is cheesy, able to retain its crispiness and doesn't get soggy! Cafe Melba's version is too good..

Look at that amount of cheese.. dripping cheese! And the crisp rye bread.. The filling was just enough that you can bite into the sandwich easily and still capture your taste-buds.. .

Even its laidback atmosphere can't redeeem Cafe Melba's dreadfully overpriced and just plain dreadful food. Too much vinegar in the hollandaise as well as in the water used to poach the free range eggs is a faux pas for one of my favourite brunch items. They even managed to savage the side salad with an excessively cloying vinaigrette. Not to mention the $8 latte which was extremely bitter from over roasted beans. A very poor representation of the Melbournian influence(or any good Aussie cafe in general) touted on their website. Still, this place is packing punters who have cash burning a hole in their pocket and are willing to spend on relaxed al fresco dining, and is also understandably popular with families, because, bouncy castle.

Taste: 2.5/5

Crisp buttered toast, crunchy lettuce, juicy tomato, tender smoked chicken, sweet honey ham, creamy guacamole, and bright sun-dried tomato pesto.

Layers of flavour in each bite.

One of the best sellers here. Large, tender, flaky Atlantic cod fish, sweet savoury in flavour with a nice oily fish texture.

Thick cut chips that have solid potato flavour. Pure comfort food.

Whole peach, coated in raspberry sauce, almonds, seasonal berries, and served with biscuit crumble and vanilla ice cream.

Love the layers of fruity sweet and sour flavours, with the crunch of the almonds contrasting well with the tender peach.

Thick slices of tender, savoury, fatty roast pork, with crisp crackling skin.

Medley of roast vegetables; sweet potato chips, brussel sprouts, potato wedges, pearl onions, pumpkin.

Doughy yorkshire pudding to pair with sweet apple and creamy herb bearnaise sauces. So shiok.

Rich, hearty, creamy broth of potatoes and leeks, flavoured with bacon, scallions, and a dash of truffle oil.

Warm and comforting.

How's this for a festive Christmas treat?

Luscious eggnog, creamy sweet, with a good warmth from brandy, topped with raspberries and crunchy almond tuile.

Feeling the Christmas mood already!

Had the apple crumble and it was delicious. Mixture of texture (crispy from the chopped nuts, chewy from oats I think and the softness from apple cubes) was very enjoyable. The tartness of the apple in the sweet mixture was just nice! The scoop of ice cream on top seals the deal. Then again, it's $12 for a small bowl so you get what you pay for :)
