Take your dog for a walk in Botanic Gardens and pop by this quaint restaurant beside Nassim Gate. There's loads of sunshine and space in the al fresco area, as well as water bowls (upon request) for the pups! For a foolproof brunch, enjoy the Classic Set ($22) with eggs, chicken sausage, crispy bacon, grilled tomato, hash brown, kale, country bread and a drink. For local flavours, get their creamy Curry Chicken with Rice ($15). On sides, share the fragrant Truffle Parmesan Fries ($10) served hot and buried under a heap of grated cheese.

Let me know if you’ll be going! ☺️
First dining experience here in botanic gardens. Plenty of options here: western, local. I got a Singaporean fusion dish. Pasta cooked and served with Sweet chili crab sauce. Generous portion of crab: chunks in the sauce and a whole soft shell crab that is deep fried placed on the top of the spaghetti.
Nasi Goreng Kampong ($14.50)

Whilst somewhat plated in a photogenic manner, the taste fell far short. The malay style fried rice was cold and mushy with a tinge of spiciness, the 3 pieces of mid-joint wings tasted rather salty and felt like they came from a bag of frozen processed food (think CP wings) and the menu mentioned “shrimp”, which was definitely nowhere to be found, likewise for the chilli. The achar and the egg were the only little comfort done well. I somehow left thinking that this dish has been heavily tweaked to suit the tourists’ palate and hence doesn’t boast the strong asian flavours typical of malay food. It is rather appalling to me when you breakdown what you are getting on a plate for the price paid.
Ngor Hiang isn't my kind of thing either, but this was not bad lah. Soft on the inside & flavourful. The skin wasn't too oily either.

The highlight of the appetisers we had was definitely the satay, though obviously pricier than what you get at hawker centres ($9 nett for 6 sticks). So dang juicy that you can eat it on its own. Which might be a good thing, because the accompanying peanut sauce on the side is soooo watery 😲

This laid-back trattoria at Singapore Botanic Gardens is the place to grab a pizza while your furry friend gets a bit of sun. The alfresco area at Casa Verde welcomes dogs of all sizes. It's very popular among dog owners and young families, so expect to pick your way through both dogs and toddlers alike. Food-wise, Burppler Carrie Carrie recommends the Laksa ($9.50), which she said is worth every cent she spent. Ask for belacan if you fancy more of kick, like she did. Casa Verde also does excellent pizzas (from $24) — it's hard to go wrong when everything is good! Pro tip: If you want to hang out in the gardens while noshing on good food, consider getting the Picnic Basket ($30), filled with hearty bites including two six-inch pizzas, to take with you out onto the greens. We're sure your pooch would love the extra space.
Avg Price: $25 per person

Choice between Prawn Noodle Soup or Seafood Char Kway Teow, paired along with Iced Jelly Dessert & Coffee or Soft Drink.
On another note, have yet to try their new pop-up menu featuring Hong Kong's famous Mui Kee Cantonese congee. Die also must find a good afternoon to get back here again.
Ham & mushroom pizza; generous amount of ingredients on top of a light, crispy crust
Breakfast on a Sunday; hearty baked eggs on a skillet of tomato sauce, cherry tomatoes and zucchini. Well-seasoned and guilt-free to start your day right. Great for sharing, as order another plate of country bread to mess and scoop everything up, with the egg yolk running like the lava of a volcano.
Thin crusted Italian style. This pizza is the best I've had so far. There's no lack is seafood or cheese in this one. I couldn't stop at one slice. Located in the serene botanical gardens, this restaurant is perfect for a quiet or romantic dine-out.
The ingredients between the nicely toasted buns are well done! from the tender beef patty to the juicy mushrooms, but the portion is a bit much
Can't recall exactly the combo, it was Rocket and another standard one recommended by the waiter with a fried egg right in the middle. It appealed to me as I wanted to try different flavors. It was pretty good although I did find it slightly salty overall.
