Charcoal Grilled Dried Atka Mackeral Set ($17.90)
.
The best seller at Charcoal Grill and Salad Bar and it’s no sweat to understand why. Probably one of the most value for money mid tier priced selection as the portion of fish is large and full of meaty fish chunks. There was quite a lot of deboning to do but it was still worth the effort. I enjoyed having my rice topped with their seaweed salad and the onsen egg while savouring the smokey fish meat. Also, my 2 favourites at the salad bar are the tuna corn pasta and the coffee jelly dessert.

Really like how it is value for money.Enjoyed the Tuna Pasta and Watermelon.Tip is you can exchange the rice for another egg if you are a small eater as the pasta will fill you easily.

Had this spread for Xmas with the family!

It tastes just like a honey marinade, and the cod fish is oh so tender, definitely a win for it's taste. Just a slight pity that the skin is all charred black. But kudos to the authentic charcoal grilling of the meat - real kungfu there.

One of the highlights is also the miso soup with their luscious pearl rice

Wish there's an egg station in this salad bar too

Enjoyed the radish and cheese that came with the cod fish too! ($25.90)

The gozen came with traditional Japanese rice served in a small iron pot, ridiculously creamy onsen egg in dashi and miso soup. The free flow salad bar could be better with an egg station. Nonetheless, another good eat from Keisuke. #happybelly #burpple (S$14.90++)

Every tonkatsu set meal here comes with a fried half-boiled egg, rice, miso soup and Japanese pickles. The restaurant also positioned itself in serving a healthier version of tonkatsu, thanks to the state-of-the-art fryers with Water Molecule Control technology. Apparently, 50% less oil is absorbed into the meat during the frying process as compared to tradition deep-frying methods. I would say taste the texture are not comprised in the new method of cooking.
