[CLOSED] Crystal Jade Kitchen (Zhongshan Mall)

Disappointed that I could not get a space at holland's famed crystal jade. I googled and found this little gem. It's not a buffet style but the set or portion is good enough, and plenty to eat. They have a wide selection of soup base, that I am literally spoiled for choices. We chose the highly recommended one, and it impressed us to the last drop. Not enough soup, don't worry they top it up! Can't wait to go back and try the other soup bases. Price wise, value for money compared to the recent famous Hai Di Lao.

Cystal Jade offers 7 types of soup base, 14 fresh meat and poultry items, 11 shellfish and seafood items, 28 vegetables, roots and mushrooms items, 5 bean and gluten items, and 8 rice and noodle items. Focusing mainly on noodle and rice dishes, they have brought over their signature green jade noodles with the strong, robust spinach flavour.
Other new additions include the Stewed Pork Rib with Longan that is mildly sweet and the Health Promotion Board approved Whole Meal Noodles that will cater to those who prefer a nutritious diet

☺️ Honoured to be one of the first few to try this unique signature - a custom blend of yellow & red curry spices, savoury with a desirable touch of heat. The broth was umami rich, meepok was firm to bite, along with the succulent chicken thighs & drumsticks all slowly simmered to unanimous thumbs up from all of us.
