But in Singapore there is a restaurant that offers a French fine cuisine reinterpreted. Saveur is a Casual French restaurant that serves Fine French Fare at a very affordable prices. .

I fell in love with their Signature Duck Confit ($19) and Saveur Pasta ($9) the first time I tried it a few years ago and guess what? I’m still in love with it. So proud to say that they had maintained the same quality since the day I first tried it. Other delectable dishes we tried are: Escargot a la Bourguignonne ($9), Seafood Bouillabaisse ($26) and Pork Cheek, Bourguignonne ($24). These French dishes were executed well and very wallet friendly. Ended our meal with their mouth watering desserts like Creme Brûlée ($10), Crepes Suzette ($10) and Pistachio Baileys Panna Cotta ($12). .

Enjoy the casual atmosphere @saveursg, serves a casual French Fare that doesn’t put a hole in your pocket. And most specially, Service staffs are very friendly and helpful even though the restaurant was almost full. .

Saveur is a restaurant that serves authentic and affordable French cuisine.

I remember trying their Signature Duck Confit and liking it back when they had an outlet at Far East Plaza. Having tried it again recently, the taste was still the same after all these years with the crispy skin and tender meat. Very consistent in terms of taste, the only difference was that the price has increased. 😂

But their Dark Chocolate Fondant ($12) is perfect too. The chocolate lava cake had a light airy texture which is perfect with the rich and warm chocolate lava. Its white counterpart, the cold vanilla ice-cream, is unadulterated goodness and I approve its quality. Can tell that real vanilla beans are used from the aplenty black specks. Not some artificial vanilla flavouring.

I must say the mash potato and the succulent duck is amazingly good! One of the best dishes in Singapore you must try. Not forgetting their foie gras that melts in your mouth. Head down and try it for yourself!! Also, their tiger prawn aglio olio is not bad too. Will be back to try out more dishes !!

Duck was rich tasting, obviously since it has been cooked in its own fat! Thankfully, the orange-tinged gravy brought a nice refreshing cut to the otherwise rich dish. One small observation was that the duck might have been slightly overcooked by a minute as the meat was kind of dry? Might have been perfect if it was removed from the heat slightly earlier ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
