Come here for the view. Because without it, there’s really nothing redeeming about this restaurant. I wonder whether they deliberately overcooked their duck confit and waffle it till it was crispy (or should I say crunchy) but completely dried out. Or I just had a bad one. Or was it because I didn’t have a view (I was seated in the middle of the restaurant) to distract me from the food, I tasted everything that was wrong with it.

The food was affordable, but there was a 13.5% service charge for non-existent service. You know the type of service that you rather not receive, and preferred if it was Ichiran-ramen style where you don’t need to see or talk to anyone (if you can even catch them)

It is vibrant and modern, serving British and European cuisine from the summit of London’s tallest building, the 230-m tall 110 Bishopsgate a.k.a. Heron Tower.

Its signature dish Duck & Waffle (£18, SGD33.23) is a crispy duck leg confit resting on a fluffy waffle, then topped with crisp fried duck egg.

Served with some mustard maple syrup on the side, the duck was excellently crisp on the outside, juicy inside.

There are a number of online reviews/comments stating it was “over-rated”, I think it was a good-enough treat for this view, at this price.

Nice view cafe from the 40th floor. You can see a really nice skyline with clear view in the morning! Especially with a nice view of the iconic tower bridge. Opt for a safer option instead of their signature duck & waffles after seeing mix reviews. Big portion of scrambled eggs with a slice of sourdough topped with fresh guacamole.

If there is one place u go in london, this is the one. A 24/7 restaurant located at the 40th floor overlooking the entire skyline. I even caught the rainbow when i was coming in. My only advice is to make reservations really early. But in case you couldnt, just go to their online reservation one night before and you might just get lucky to see some slots freed up.

Very crispy duck confit, fried duck egg with waffle and mustard maple syrup. 👍🏼 the duck was crispily full of flavours and the meat just came off the bone, oh and i love those duck fats within. 😋 hmm, i even see rabbit in the menu. 🤔

15 pounds for an excellent duck confit; crisp, flavourful & tender.
0 pounds for the waffle; mildly tepid & dense.
2 pounds for a spectacular skyline.
Book way in advance as they might not open up the obviously-empty tables for walk-ins!

Crack the thin roof of burnt sugar to unveil a foie gras custard with a texture rich and velvety, perfect for smearing little dollops on pieces of that mildly sweet brioche bun topped with airy puffs of pork crackling. Outstanding!
