I am such a fan of otah but it's not a dish that is readily found everywhere. Initially I thought it was too pricey for otah but when the dish came I was just blown away by the size of it. Unlike most otahs I've had, this one was more soft and crumbly I'm used to. But I'm not complaining because every mouthful was flavourful and just a party in my mouth. There was some sotong in the otah which were also cooked well, because it was not overly chewy as they usually are.

Typically served with crab, this dish usually comes with a less pocket-friendly price. So when we saw this on the menu we knew we had to get it. Sure enough, we were not disappointed. The tang hoon was cooked to the perfect consistency, with just enough bite to it. The prawns tasted really fresh and were juicy. This is definitely one of my favourite and I will definitely come back for more.

The meat was succulent and juicy with a perfect fat to meat ratio. I don't usually like eating fats but this one was flavourful and soft, although not quite melt-in-your
-mouth. The sauce that accompanied was sweet and went well with the meat but the meat is as good on its own. Although it was a fairly generous plate of meat, I just couldn't get enough of it!

"Te Kar" Been Hoon $12.80
BBQ Pork jowl $14.80
Ugly Cabbage $ 9.80
Mee kia $11.80

Crowded at 11pm on a Saturday, and after tasting the food we truly know why. The Mee Kia and Pork Jowl really wow-ed us. The Pork Jowl was tender and flavourful, sweetness and charred taste was well balanced. The Thai style sauce gave it the final kick. The Mee kia is a "upgraded" version, not only the more premium ingredients like the pork jowls, runny egg and crab meat but even the noodles were tangy and well mixed with
a pleasant tint of wok hey. Ugly cabbage was crunchy but a bit oily. "Te kar" been hoon gave me the homey feel, feels like something that can improve my appetite when I am sick. Though the dishes are on the pricey side, with the quality is definitely worth it. One more place added to my favourite supper list!

Both the dishes were amazing! Loved the food here. Highly recommended

Don’t leave Enjoy Eating House and Bar without trying some of their signature desserts. A true decadence, the rich top-grade Mao Shan Wang coupled with refreshing coconut ice cream. Every spoonful was so rich in creamy durian as though eating the actual fruit itself, you know they aren’t lying to you.

An interesting creation was the chendol panda cotta, where this local dessert had its green pandan jelly noodles topped on a sweet coconut cream pudding, and drizzled with some sweet fragrant Gula Melaka. At some point, it satisfies the craving of this Italian dessert yet keeping the local-inspired flavour. With the silky cream pudding below, it’s not difficult to slurp the dessert down within a short period of time.

A safer option was the rockmelon sago. Classic combination of sweet rockmelon and sago in naturally-flavored fresh milk. As familiar as it is, nothing out of ordinary.
