螃蟹不大,但是肉很结实,鲜甜,中锅两个人吃,加两个配菜,加个小凉菜,差不多。
中辣,可以接受,味道香。下饭。

Finally tried @fatbird.sg and I was hooked! Their chicken pot was indeed very comforting and tasty 😍

We had the Large Chicken Pot ($38.80 - 30% off with #burpplebeyond ) and it came MASSIVE. The portion is definitely more than enough to feed 4-6 people, as they gave so much chicken within. The chicken pieces were very tender and well marinated as well. We got the original house special sauce, which was very comforting due to its sweet, savoury and spicy flavours.

As the pot mainly contains just chicken and Enoki mushrooms, I highly recommend ordering the vegetable platter ($13.80) to go with it. The platter came with a heaping amount of different vegetable types, including potato and lotus root which were great additions to the broth.

For starters, the Salted Egg Yolk Corn ($10.80) is a great sharing dish as it was sweet and savoury; a fun dish to munch on if you do order some beer!

Do note that their soup can get quite salty towards the end, and I recommend adding water instead of their broth at the end. Definitely coming back for their hearty chicken pot and massive portions 😍

Spicy and fragrant chicken pot with thick and savoury broth, filled with endless chunks of chicken tender to the bite. The broth tastes quite similar to the mala hotpot sans the numbing effect. Additional side dishes are available (chargeable) for add-ons.

Thanks to Burpple Beyond, we get to enjoy 30% Off Total Bill ✌ (U.P. $32.80 / Medium)

[Clockwise from top left]
Sliced Potatoes ($1.90)
Sizzling Chicken Claypot ($13.80)
Tinfoil Enoki Mushrooms ($4.50)
San Bei Chicken ($13.80)

Claypot dishes were chock-full of meat and the sauces paired nicely with rice ($1.50/portion). We preferred the Sizzling Chicken pot as there were plenty of veges (onions, capsicum, leeks)as compared to the San Bei Chicken which only had chicken chunks and basil. Grilled potato and Enoki sides were great and we loved the generous amounts of garlic served with them.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZED 🫶🏻 our bellies r soo happy rn!!! ordered the spicy & fragrant chicken pot & had a one for one house special chicken (black sauce, a little sweet). both pots were $25.80++ before discount for regular sized. spice level also customizable for both - none, mild, medium, high. we ordered non-spicy for the house special & medium spicy for the spicy & fragrant pots. would say their spice level accurately matches what one wld expect a 中辣 to be. they were generous w the chicken (v tender)! flavours were super bomb. we requested our add ons (side dishes) to be put separately so we could do it hotpot style too.

UPDATE: returned 3 weeks later and suddenly the price of their pots became $32.80++???? that is a $7 inflation... food quality & quantity is still there but for this big a price jump, it's kinda off-putting & the pot is only worth if you have burpple one for one and even then you could probably find cheaper options that are just as good around 🫠🫠🫠

Always saw a good crowd whenever I passed so I finally grabbed the chance to visit. Had the Mushroom Herbs Chicken Pot and added on the String Beans. Really big portions, but do add on some veges to the pot as after a while it was chicken after chicken after chicken all tasting the same, would have liked a mix of textures after a while. The mushroom herb flavour was good but think I'll try something spicier and more fragrant next time. Didn't really like the string beans as it wasn't like the ones I liked (the shrimp and minced meat ones). But overall with the burpple discount it was quite worth it.

I must say they are super generous with their chicken and this is the medium size pot btw… Glad that we ordered handmade noodles and sliced pork which went really well with the sauce.

Thanks to Burpple Beyond, I enjoyed 30% of the total bill!😄👍

Fat Bird was surprisingly crowded despite it being a Monday night but thankfully, it was ok as we made a reservation beforehand. We got the signature chicken pot as we assumed that it would be the signature dish of the restaurant. Do note that this is the two-person serving and there is the option to upsize the pot if you are dining in with more friends!

As we were afraid that the dish would be too spicy, we asked for the hotpot to be less spicy as well. However, there was almost no spice in it so for those of you who are looking for some kick, we would like to suggest that you go with normal and more spicy levels.

Without the spice, the sauce had a tinge of sweetness in it and we thought it went pretty well with normal white rice! You can customize the ingredients by adding on additional items into the pot and we decided to add instant noodles as we were reminiscing about 麻辣香锅! However, we think it would be better to have rice with the sauce from the claypot as the instant noodles paired a little strangely with the sauce. Chicken was pretty generous and very tender and there were really no bones (although you can opt for bones when ordering but most people wouldn't do that).

Do use your Burpple vouchers if you are dining in at the restaurant to get 30% off! Otherwise, the dish may be a tad expensive at close to $35 after including GST and service charge.

This pot got the 蔴 feel and is spicy. Not bad too but still prefer the mushroom pot.

A must try is the mushroom chicken dish. The soup base is fantastic with rice. My old folks like it. They do charge for additional add on ingredients. If you do want to add, tao kee is the best and recommended. With burpple deal, you can get a one for one pot - Mon to thur. Savings of $25.80 at least.

Flavorful with generous portion of chicken; meat is very tender & totally soaked up the flavorful sauce; mushroom herb sauce is very thick with variety of mushroom inside; quite unique as I've not tasted this kind of chicken pot flavor; chosen medium level of spicy but felt not spicy enough; opted for less oil and salt but still feel quite salty towards the end..

Flavorful with generous portion of chicken; meat is very tender & totally soaked up the flavorful sauce; the spicy & fragrant sauce tasted similar to the mala hotpot just without the numbing taste; chosen medium level of spicy but felt not spicy enough; opted for less oil and salt but still feel quite salty towards the end..

tried the mushroom pot and signature (both non spicy) and the mushroom pot was the more popular choice at our table. think wld have been more shiok if it was just a tad spicy! skip the chicken skewers they were q dry but the lamb and pork belly ones were another fave at our table! total damage was pretty gud with burpple 1 for 1 and the staff there was pretty friendly too!

Treated myself with the 1 for 1 (M size) Chicken Hot Pot which comes in different flavours (in picture: Mushroom and Hot & Spicy) you can choose from. The serving for one pot is almost more than enough for 3 people, so having 2 pots was actually an overkill. It wasn’t too salty nor oily, so it was actually quite nice. 👍🏼 Will definitely be back to try their skewers!

I always look forward to these chicken stews. The broth is so yummy. It’s literally like a hotpot as you can add as many ingredients as you one. I always go for the thick vermicelli.

Love the signature soup pot, 辣子鸡 & skewers! Generous portion with refillable soup & yummy food served quickly despite peak dining period. Very worth it :) Advised to make a reservation beforehand to avoid long waitlist

$24.90++ for 2 chicken pots with 4 flavours to choose from. The Sichuan chicken pot is pretty decent, but is slightly oily due to the Chili oil within. Enjoyed my meal! Don’t mind coming again!

1-1 $16.80 Seafood Mains: Ordered (1) garlic La La and prawn dish; (2) Octopus hot plate
Between these two, prefer the first dish. It had strong garlic taste, steam egg white, la la and prawn. There are 8 pieces in one claypot. Second dish tasted pretty normal. Overall, worth it for the deal :)

Chicken hotpot is the perfect dish for the rainy weather (to come). It is served piping hot, packs a nice fiery kick and perfect on its own or over rice.

Fat Bird has a #burpplebeyond 1-for-1 promo that is just superb value for $. For $24++, you get two of their chicken pot (M), each of which is more than enough for 2 pax. You also get to choose from 4 different flavours from their house special (non-spicy) to numbing & fiery.

Prepared with 13 different types of herbs and spices, bite-sized free roaming chicken is first cooked over high heat in a dry wok to lock in the flavours. It is then finished with a flavourful broth.

I personally find it a tad too salty. Good over rice but maybe try to resist being too greedy k.
