grain alley caught me by surprise of how delicious truffle fries with sour cream can taste like! The fries are fresh, soaking the truffle taste and smell, but what really got me eating one after the other had to be their sauces. We usually can’t even finish half the bowl of fries, as both of us are small eaters but we managed to complete 95% of the fries in @grainalley, and their fries do stay crispy for at least a good 30mins!

🤤 3.5/5 (mainly heading over for their fries and coffee)!
💸 $50+ for two pax (inclusive of 2 mains)

Had a good experience at Grain Alley! Huge space with rly nice concept throughout. Nice ambience, which makes for great photo opportunities. Notice that their outdoor area is pet-friendly so pet owners can bring their fur pets along :-) they also welcome people to do their work there since they have designated certain tables for that purpose.

We ordered the Smoked Salmon Croissant ($12) and the Crazy Croque Monsieur ($15) and both were really satisfying. Their coffees were rly good too – had their iced mocha and iced latte :)

The Chicken Shawarma Laffa Wrap ($17) is served in laffa wrap with slow-cooked pulled spice chicken with coral lettuce, sliced tomatoes, shredded cucumbers, topped with Greek yoghurt sauce. Side of black truffle mash is also included.

Was expecting a bigger portion and better presentation. Disappointed with the food and the attitude of the owner when given feedback about the food portions.

Note this spot on Orchard Road down for lunch with the girls. Fuel up with their well-presented grub such as Beef Brisket ($23) and Duck Confit ($17). Also good is the Cheddar Baked Fish ($17). Note that they do not serve meat on Mondays!
