The acai bowl has a decent portion so I would say it’s value for money. They provided an ample amount of nuts, cocoa bites, granola, Chia seeds. So it provided a varied texture every bite I took. I wish the acai at the bottom wasn’t as watery. Recommend:) $12.90
This bowl was about $7.90 for their small bowl choice!
Didn't like that the Acai was missing that frozen texture when served, it melted really quick, and when it got served to me, it was already liquid-y 😟.
Large make your own bowl allow you to choose 1 base (soba noodles), 2 mains (Baked White Fish Paprika Lime Seasoning & Grilled Spiced Chicken Breast) 3 sides (Pineapple & Cucumber Salad, 2x Boiled Egg), 1 dressing (Ginger Ponzu) and 1 topping (Crispy Garlic Crumbs).
It does make you feel healthier but it is quite pricey.
Pretty much your typical poke bowl, but with some nice additions like mango and onsen egg!
I’ve had Haakon poke before, and I’ve noticed that their salmon is not the freshest. While the salmon was still very mild and creamy in flavour, it wasn’t as soft as you’d expect for sashimi.
Falafel, beetroot hummus, baked pumpkin, zoodles (cucumber noodles), quinoa and pesto sauce. The highlight of this dish was the beetroot hummus - the brightly coloured mash was delicious to eat!
Classic Acai Bowl ($12.90)
The base layer of the bowls was chai seed then icy cold acai and topped with seasonal fruits (Mangoes were really sweet)
Overall, a refreshing and addictive bowl of super food
