Red prawn tartare - Cold dish of fresh and juicy prawns served with pomelo and tosazu jelly. The jelly was a delightful and complex balance of sweet, salty, and tangy from the likely mix of soy, vinegar, mirin, and citrus.

One of the better renditions I’ve had with fluffy interior and caramelised exterior. Loved the refreshing sea salt element balanced with caramel drizzle and luscious creme fraise ice cream

Always a fan of raw juicy oysters and enjoyed theirs, albeit a bit steeper price-wise even with the 50% happy hour discount. Coromandel was creamier in flavour, Fanny Bay more classic salty and briny finish, and Sun Seeker a personal favourite for the more complex meaty, mineral, sweet taste.

Using wild caught marble goby from Tembilahan River in Sumatra, Indonesia served with smoky roasted broccolini, mildly sweet black garlic, shallot puree and juicy Australian mussels cooked in sake

Starting with the oysters, these are sourced directly farm-to-table from Hama Hama Oyster Company and each slurp will allow you to enjoy the freshness of the Pacific Northwest, accompanied with Humpback’s house mignonette that gives it a nice tangy zing with a burst of refreshment. Before the sharing plates, there are several light bites in the menu such as the House Cured Hamachi Pastrami ($18) that has been smoked in house with applewood and finished with smoked sour cream, pickled mustard seeds and dill sprigs. A snack that comes highly recommended is the Mussel Toast with Spicy Nduja ($16, 2pcs) in which the plump Australian mussels are tossed in a smoked oil, served on toasted brioche and topped with vinegar gel, fennel flower and chives.

The menu consists of small and large plates from the refreshing White Asparagus with Blue Crab and White Miso ($25) to Purple Clams with Toasted Koji and Green Asparagus ($31), and the Marble Goby with Broccolini served with a black garlic shallot purée and sake cooked mussels.

This was the 2nd visit and the food still good and surprised me. The blue crab slider come in double and I finished them all! After had the first slider, it just made me wanted to finish the 2nd one. I thought I might not like scallop ceviche as I don’t usually take raw food. This was proved me wrong and surprised me. The sauce took away the rawness of the scallops!

they were a m a z i n g! Subsequently over the night we found out that their oysters are actually seasonal! But to kick start our night, we went ahead to get 2 each of what they had to offer - Disco Hama, Summerstone, Pickering Passage & Sun Seeker. Our absolute fave was Disco Hama (💯), but these oysters caters to those who prefer more briny oysters with a plump and springy texture!
Essentially, it’s goes according to this: Disco Hama -> Sun Seeker; more briny to more creamy. So I guess take your pick. 😋

Unique and delicious. The crunchy zucchini complimented the sardine really well. My only gripe with this dish is that the serving is a little too small for the price
