The Bulgogi Beef Banh Mi is packed filled with caramelised bulgogi meat and creamy mayo. The meat was tender with a sweet and savory sauce, and a fresh crunch from the sliced cumumber, tangy pickled vegetables and fragrant cilantro. This was a more hearty and savory banh mi as compared to others.

When a scone crumbles easily upon being forked, you’d be skeptical about it; truly the one here was a tad dry.
But the viet drip coffee and sourdough Banh Mi on Burpplebeyond would keep me coming back.

Ordered 2 sourdough banh mis- Grilled egg and lemongrass chicken. They were served warm with some fresh pickled veggies. Super yummy and perfect as breakfast/snack! Thoroughly enjoyed my white drip coffee (iced) too- so gao (thick) and fragrant 😄Very value for money with Burpple Beyond 1-1!

This understated cozy joint serves amazing sourdough banh mi which is baked fresh in house , amazing pho , and amazing dry noodles . But the highlight is the Vietnamese drip coffee

Sourdough Banh Mi is a thing here - I was right (with reference to my post on Yeast Side) and I am glad to report that they are great, at La Saigon it is always sweetened with burpplebeyond.

For the sourdough advocates, having sourdough Banh Mi made this substantial and I loved the generous Vietnamese pickled slaw with fish sauce and chicken thigh like chunks in my order. I can’t wait to be back to try to coffee!

If you haven’t tried Vietnamese drip coffee before, you’d want to give La Saigon’s rendition a shot! All their coffee beans are sourced directly from the volcanic highlands of Vietnam and are roasted locally in Singapore. Plus every cup is freshly ground and brewed before being served to their customers.
