This, my fellow burpplers, is the nicest bun bo hue I had in Singapore.
Although cheap, this isn't something you can drink anywhere. It's just tea but it did have a unique note to it.
First, I was disappointed, as I had expected something closer to Thailand's prawn cakes. Then, I found they're not bad, kinda like fish cake but seemingly containing meat too, so it's an interesting paste.
The magnificence of dry Vietnamese noodles mixing together fresh veg and sauces still wows me. Heard this place is authentic and I must concede they are. I would rate this dish a perfect 10 if not for the underwhelming pork chop. Not as tender and fatty as wished. The fried spring rolls were among the best I've tried.
