this is THE BEST buttermilk waffle ever. the batter is so so fragrant, and the waffles are made to order. because of this it takes a while to get the waffle baked, but let me tell u โ it is so worth the wait. the fresh waffles are crispy on the outside & soft and spongy on the inside, and ofc are piping hot (i burnt my tongue a few too many times in my urgency to eat it ๐ )
for this one, i opted for the chocolate marshmallow filling. the hot waffle kind of melts the marshmallows, giving the effect of eating a sโmore! itโs surprisingly not too sweet and doesnโt get jelak too!!

got the oreo cream cheese [$4.8] and the red velvet cheese [$5] and let me tell you.... THESE ARE HUGEEEE!! just look at the size of the loaves in comparison to the tongs... anyway, the red velvet one was really worth it because it had a lottt of cream cheese filling, but the oreo cheese one was rather dry, to be frank, and definitely didnโt have much cheese as the red velvet one
Yes this is the previous belgium chocolate. Filling was abit less generous than expected from previous reviews q long ago but the taste was there. Microwave for 10seconds to make sure it melts and you're in for an absolute treat. Absolutely luxurious taste and mouth feel, uncharacteristic of neighbourhood bread place but the bread itself could be fluffier(maybe it's cos soft bread might break from the lava)
Coffee cheese bread ($4.80)
Pumpkin cream cheese bread ($5)
minus $1 if you buy 2 big breads
Theyโre always so generous with their filling ๐๐คค
Being under the same group as Bakery Cuisine, MK also offers a very good variety of bread that you just wish you could bring everything home. This double chocolate bun ($1.20) is just one of the many - small (about 6cm IN diameter), soft, and fluffy, but I wished there could be more chocolate filling. I think Bakery Cuisine's version may be better, will try and let you know sometime ๐
First time trying from this bakery, and I think itโs really good!! This chocolate cranberry bread was so sinfully good โค๏ธ The molten chocolate was rich but not too overpowering, and it was really generous! A little bit on the sweet side, but really worth the try โค๏ธ
At $1.80 per piece, MK Levure Naturelleโs Belgium Chocolate Bun is a chocolate loverโs dream come true. Heating them for a couple of seconds, the filling was very much like molten lava, oozing from the interior as you peel the warm soft bun apart. Plain on the outside but lots of bittersweet gooey goodness on the inside, the rich chocolate stuffed buns were also not overly sweet.
this was ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ!!!!!! purple sweet potato filing on the inside tasted v rich and creamy ๐
This is most definitely one of the best chocolate bun I've had from any bakery in Singapore. And it's only $1.80!!
As someone who champions a minimum of 1:2 bread to filling ratio, trust me when I say that the filling in this is SO generous.
And the best thing is, the taste of chocolate in this bun is legit. You know how some chocolate fillings have that artificial flavouring taste that crushes a chocolate-lover's hopes and dreams? None of that bullshit here. While the taste isn't so rich and decadent that you'd henceforth announce a boycott of Awfully Chocolate or Chocolate Origins, it still is pretty awesome flavour you're getting for less than $2.
Not too sure if this is the same as the Chocolate Lava Bun that their posters advertised, but this was labelled on the shelves as Belgium Chocolate Bun.
MK Levure Naturelle is probably my absolute favourite bakery in Singapore, for the low price, awesome quality, and great variety of breads it offers. There are just so many flavours that I enjoy immensely. Do try the Teriyaki Chicken, Cinnamon Raisin and Nutella Crunch loaves if you happen to pass by. You know what, try ALL the flavours - and you can do that for free because they put out baskets of free samples for all their loaves. So much awesomeness. Can I just live here already?
I can't tell if this has any added food colouring, it's really vibrant ๐ฑ but nonetheless I really like the red bean filling and how soft and pillowy this bread is. The only problem is how quickly I finish one loaf. I kid you not - half down in 10 mins. Soft bread just has that effect on me.
This is some pretty kick ass bread.. An accidental but awesome find ๐ Cranberry walnut multi-grain loaf ($4.80)-- great way to start Monday! โค๏ธ๐
Not too sweet, and quite generously stuffed! Would recommend to anyone who likes chestnut, since it's quite rare to see chestnut bread, right?
Bits and pieces of sweet potato stuffed in a cocoa powder covered mini bun for an ashy touch. Not sweet, which was what I liked about it! Quite pricey compared to other bakeries, but for their large loaves, they provide generous and free samplings!
A slice (smaller than this) costs $3.50 and a whole pie for $12. Mum got a whole pie and cut it into four. This picture is to also showcase the beautiful plate I got from Finland!
I know this looks quite unsightly after I took a bite to try and show the oozing chocolate, it's so mad delicious. Before this I was a huge Duke's fan, perhaps it's the flavors that they offer which I prefer over Duke's. Their bread/loafs are always still warm when I open it to devour into them, even after it turns cold it's stays as soft as ever! I've tried their Longan Cranberry Walnut, Corn Yam Bread and Multigrain. I don't even like longan or corn!!! Can't wait to go back and get more tmr! I get pretty excited for food that I like, it's rare.
On top had that pineapple bread crust but the filling could have been slightly more
