The meats here at Nami was good, but I found it rather expensive.

Nami Platter consist of:
1) USDA Prime Ribeye
2) USDA Prime Boneless Short Rib
3) Kurobuta Pork Belly
4) Marinated Pork Collar

There will be a staff doing the grilling for you here, so no need to worry if u will get the correct doneness of your beef.

Nami is located at a rather public transport inaccessible location at Greenwood Ave. Hard to get parking lots as the area gets very very crowded during dinner time on weekends. I had to park 7mins walk away at the private housing area.

Google reviews for this place is very good, with a 4.8/5 rating with over 650 reviews.

Reservations are recommended.

Mao Shan Wang (Durian) Bingsu (S$11.90/ small)

A small Korean cafe hidden inside which seats about 18 pax. Very fine very milky with bits of durian on top.

Han Bing Cafe

Green Tea (Matcha) Bingsu (Premium & Regular Size - $13.90)

green tea's colour and taste for powder was quite weird tbh but then red bean is not that bad. I felt that it's quite milky and creamy for bingsu tbh for me. They got a variety of different bingsu flavour to order from and got a lot of different size from mini to large for sharing.

Have a good feasting session this festive period at @namibyhanjip.sg ! They are a Korean Barbeque Joint that serves up authentic Korean Barbeque Restaurant with an extensive range of meat cuts ranging from Kurobuta Berkshire Pork, Australia Wagyu and USDA Prime Beef selections and Traditional Korean dishes!

Inspired by South Korea’s popular Nami Island, this beautiful location is at Greenwood, which gives off a similar vibe - quiet and relaxing!

Featured here are the following food items:

-Kurobuta Platter ($98 for 450g) and Kurobuta Pork Belly ($35 for 150g): The platter consists of 450g meat of Kurobuta Pork Belly, Pork Jowl and Marinated Pork Collar. They were grilled to perfection by the service staff! Juicy and nicely grilled!

-Korean Abalone ($48): Goes super well with the special chilli sauce dip given for this dish!

-Marinated Crab ($68): This was my first time trying marinated crab. Very interesting jelly like texture. The marinated crab was sweet!

-Ginseng Chicken Soup ($30): Best dish to get for the cold weather these few weeks!

-Spicy Seafood Soup: This soup was actually quite spicy! Lots of soft tofu and eggs in the soup in addition to the seafood!

-Potato Pancake ($20+): Crispy pancake!

-Steamed Egg ($10): The egg was served pipping hot! Soft fluffy eggs!

-Chorong Chorong Soju (3 Bottles for $48): Recommend to get this to go along with your bbq meats! Best drink choice to complete the korean dining experience! You can also purchase these @chorongchorong.official soju from https://bit.ly/SHOPCHORONGNOW !

Enjoy your meal in comfort as the service staff will help to grill your meats for you! Just sit back and enjoy your meal!

The scrambled eggs were fluffy and nice. Complements with the sourdough bread well and makes a good combo.

[ Food Review – Vday at Kong! Ft. new menu items! ] Our fav café having a debut V-day menu + burgeoning cases = guess how we spent our V-day dinner! Added perk: No traffic woes you can easily walk over!

(And yes, Kong was open at night – until 10pm, no less! – to commemorate the occasion!)

The menu of the night was a 3-course set ($48.80) that included options for appetiser, main, and desserts, accompanied by drinks. Which was a very nice surprise since many larger places don’t even offer that level of customisability!

Our choices for the night were the Platter of Mandoo & House-made Kimaree for sides, Army Stew for our main, Brownie w. Vanilla Icecream for sweets, and 2 shots of Peach Soju to whet our (his) appetites. (Spoiler: We ended up ordering extras just because we didn’t want the meal to end, oops!)

As much as a certain someone and I love the Rarabokyi, the Army Stew was just what we needed after a day of rain. Unlike places that create the illusion of depth with chives, onions and cabbage, Kong’s stew was brimming with pockets of spam, hotdogs, tofu, and tteokbokki; it even had dumplings and shrooms inside! Better yet, the broth isn’t made with beef stock, so friends with dietary restrictions, Kong’s gotchu!

Normally, the Army Stew would’ve been an easy winner, but my goodness, the Kimaree was a thing of beauty. Made from wrapping glass noodles in seaweed before deep frying them, every bite was an addictive tug-of-war between the crackle and pop of the seaweed and the slick sweetness of the noodles. We had to get a second plate. Had. To.

The last item of note turned out to be the crème brûlée that I’d initially skipped over because I was uncharacteristically craving chocolate! A certain someone decimated it in literal seconds after I snuck off with the sugar layer; the cream wasn’t too sweet, and the sugar was evenly, and more importantly, sufficiently burnt for that honeyed goodness.

Add on the relaxed vibes, pleasant crowd, a very enthused Hanna personally serving tables, and a little too much soju for him and sugar for me, we now have another memorable V-day in our pockets!

actually pretty good. the chicken is so well marinated and roasted and juicy but slightly oily. salad base also has melscun which is pretty good

waffles are a lil inconsistent, sometimes good sometimes bad but somehow their basic vanilla ice cream which is just some generic mass bought one is pretty good! love the vanilla flavour.
