this was good!!! a lot of pork given and soup was rich

Head here for authentic thai food cuisine and live band music! elaxing ambience to chill of Mac in Tai Seng!

Their menu have many items, and here are some of the items we had:

-Steamed squid with lime and garlic: This comes on a hot plate steaming dish! The squid was soft and fresh! Refreshing lime and garlic chilli drizzle sauce!
-Stir Fried Crab Meat with Curry Powder: This was so good! Hard to find thai food places that sell this kind of curry crab meat in SG!
-Fried Omelette with Oyster: Crispy egg with plump oysters!
-Basil Pork: This is slight salty, so be sure to order rice carbs to go along with it!
-Grilled Sweet Pork (Moo Ping)
-Tom Yum Seafood Fried Rice: Love this tom yum fried rice! Slightly spicy, be warned!
-Pineapple Fried Rice: Fragrant pineapple fried rice that comes with pork floss, pineapple, cashew nut and raisins!
-Phad Thai
-Dessert: Mango Sticky Rice and Red Ruby with Coconut Ice Cream
-Drinks: Thai Lemongrass, Root Beer Float, Coconut Ice Blend

Many delicious dishes to choose from!

Now I know why ppl rave. When it's hot, the bread is really pure floof. It stunned me. But the downside is that the centre is then way too hot. You taste a lot more banana than kaya

It's the same ubiquitous filling as your kopitiam mushroom veg buns, skip

The bread tends to be abit dry if you leave it out overnight

The cream cheese was quite strongly seasoned, pretty good

An absolute favourite at the table, Warm Up Cafe’s Creamy Crab Omelette was a solid 10 out of 10! Living up to all the positive reviews, the lusciously smooth curds were perfectly seasoned. The sweetness of the chunky crab meat generously studded within the brilliantly tender egg blanket also added a wonderful flavour of crustacean into the mix. Ideal with a simple bowl of steaming rice~

@warmupcafe_sg name is a bit ironic as it’s pretty cold inside, but they do bring that Thai heat to warm your belly up. They have all the Thai classics like basil chicken, pineapple fried rice and Pad Thai, but the Creamy Crab Omelette Rice ($13++) called to me the loudest that day. The crab omelette isn’t quite an omelette, but more like scrambled eggs with all those runny, eggy curds burying the rice.⠀

A dollop of crabmeat atop the omelette and a green chili based sauce on the side complete this comforting looking dish. Truth be told, although the runny, silky egg curds were texturally terrific, it was a tad bland. However, that’s the cue for the green chili sauce in the little fish shaped plate to shine. It perfectly embodies Thai flavours: spicy, sour, salty and slightly sweet. ⠀

The subtle spice enlivened the crab omelette, while the sourness was so shiok it compels you pour the sauce all over the omelette rice and give it a good mix. The salinity of the sauce makes up for the lack of it in the omelette, and if I had to guess I’d say the green chilies were mixed with fish sauce & some vinegar. The Creamy Crab Omelette Rice was simply scrumptious thanks mostly to that absolutely GOAT-ed chili sauce. Warm Up Café’s green chili sauce goes straight into my list of ‘sauces so stellar, they should be bottled & sold’.

This was mad delicious. I didn't like their bread cos it was too dense after you chew even tho it's soft and fluffy, but the Kaya bread doesn't have this problem cos it's flatter.

The Kaya itself was pretty good too, it's not the same as the normal one you find everywhere, you can really taste the slightly custardy texture and the full flsvour

Must try

The boat noodles were also decent! I enjoyed the rich herbal sweetness of the broth, more GAO than most boat noodles I have tried. Quite a substantial portion of braised pork, but the thick-cut pork belly reminded me of 东波肉 so it may be a bit too fatty or jelat for some people (like myself).

Although the prawns were fresh and huge, I found the Glass Noodles with Tiger Prawn to be lacking in wok hei. The boat noodles are definitely a better carb option!

The Spicy Grilled Pork Jowl won me over with the marbling on the thick slices. The spicy and tangy dip helped cut through the fatty parts of the meat, so you can probably indulge in a few more pieces.
