This Thai restaurant is catering much to group of people, as they offered very limited options of individual meal on the rice and noodles; unless you get a main dish and pair it with rice.
The Chiangmai Curry Noodle is one of noodles option here, topped with crispy egg noodle. You also able to choose the meat to go with, such as chicken, pork or seafood. The curry wasnβt too spicy.
Surprisingly good. It captured Thai seasoning very well and there's some wok hei. Not bad ingredients too.
I don't know why a Thai eatery has this lol. It's good, but tasted more Singaporean than Thai.
Spicy, which made it more shiok.
Tom Yum Seafood Soup - the classic tom yum soup is just perfect, the right amount of sweet, spicy and sour flavours
Basil Pork with Century Egg - this dish was on their special menu. It is by far the best basil pork dish I've tried, the minced pork was flavourful and the fried century egg complemented the meat well. I love the combination but felt that the century egg was a tad jelak towards the end
Thai Style Kang Kong - a good mild tasting dish to complete the meal
We had the Basil Pork with Century Egg, Claypot Tang Hoon with Prawn, Phad Thai, Clear Tomyum Seafood Soup, Deep Fried squid w/ Thai chilli sauce, Thai Style Kang Kong, Deep Fried Pork with Garlic, Mango Sticky Rice and Red Ruby.
From the plethora of dishes we had, my favourite would be the Tang Hoon! It was very flavourful and well executed. The fried century egg was something I have never tried and I think itβs quite interesting! @foodkingnoc good indeed! The Kang kong was great too!
However, their deep fried items were overly done, imo. The pork was really tough and lacklustre while the squid was overcooked.
But overall, a really decent meal! And I would want to dine in at the place to have the food freshly cooked and piping hot which I suspect would elevate the tastes of the dishes.
The prices are very reasonable too! Head over to @87justthai to check out their menu.
A simple and lovely dish. Itβs rather affordable.

Huge plate of rice and minced chicken meat stir fried in basil.
One of my rare unplanned meals, because the place that I had intended to go to was closed during dinner and I didnβt have time to go somewhere else so this store on the same street it was.
I was shocked at how similar the menu was to Nakhonβs, I think itβs almost exactly the same π So I went for tanghoon phad thai, something I always ate at Nakhon last time. These were decent, nothing to nitpick about. It was nicely fried, noodles didnβt clump, with a pretty generous serving of ingredients. Itβs - good option for a quick, no-fuss meal :)
