My To go place for pasta. Pasta texture is always al dente, sauce is always flavourful and the sausage they use has herbs in it and it just adds to the flavour.

My Fried Mozerella came with a crispy breading while being all gooey on the inside. Was too excited to try it after seeing so many reviews online so I didn’t attempt the cheese pull shot 😆 the cheese was light so one wouldn’t feel jelat after it though you might want to consider eating this fast to avoid the cheese hardening. It came with a tangy tomato sauce which serves as a pretty good dip! ⁣

Can get pretty jelak after a while so I suggest you share this plate! Though, I’d recommended the tomato sauces pasta instead of the cream based ones because I felt that the former has a stronger flavour.

Everytime someone asked me for good pasta in the business district I’d recommend Pasta Brava. But sometime back, I was recommended this cozy little restaurant just a little further up from where Pasta Brava is located. While the service is not comparable to Pasta Brava, given that the latter is more upscale and fine dining-esque; this homely Italian restaurant serves authentic pasta at an affordable price! ⁣⁣

Take your date out for a fun Italian meal, without breaking the bank. You're here for the handmade pastas, whether you like your Tagliatelle with Porcini Mushrooms ($14.90) or Italian Meatballs ($12.80). On sides, bad for their Fried Mozzarella ($8.80), deep-fried oozy cheese sticks that comes with an appetising tomato sauce for dipping.

And the plus point? Hand-made pasta! I picked tagliatelle to go with my carbonara although the waiter suggested the normal pre-packed spaghetti or linguine instead *sorry, I'm a weirdo* He also said that the carbonara came with bacon, and voila - it was guanciale!! Geez, so much surprise for this pasta shop. The carbonara might came with a tad too much "sauce" but every strand was well coated. It's not an easy dish to execute (I've tried so many times at home) so kudos to these guys. I definitely enjoyed my pasta and wiped the plate clean within minutes!
