Not v generous portion of pork but it was tender. A simple lovable soy sauce base, egg noodles was decent and quite unique.
Overall fine but abit plain for a meal outside
The beef were quite thickly sliced, so not melt in your mouth but reasonably tender. The marinade is quite unique too, althought it was still sweet. The baguette was lousy though and that brings down the whole dish
Really delicious, the hae bi in the chili hits you immediately and this was pretty spicy, be prepared (the normal spice level is only level 1 apparently, try asking for less heat)
The noodles and toppings were average tho, but the soup carries so still worth a try. Only the beef balls were really good, very different from normal and slightly pink inside, very tender with a bit of bounce and clean tasting
Although this is dry noodles, itβs not oily or covered in gravy. Instead it is light and healthy tasting, and seasoned with lime. Thereβs plenty of shredded vegetables mixed into it, in addition with several pieces of chicken and a spring roll. I enjoyed it very much.
Pho Street is the one PHO me whenever I'm craving for vietnamese food! I love their pho and although it's not the same as those I had in Vietnam but it's still good! I like to add in their chilli to my noodles. Anyway my new found love will be their street food - the wrap pork and also the summer rolls. Both is between $4.90 to $5.90. I really love the pork roll the most and we were like snatching for it π€£ The noodles became the sides instead of the main dish. Also, you can mix your own sauce if you like to suit your own palate. Affordable and good vietnamese food ππ» must try!!
THE MOJITO DEAL IS A SCAM it says 2$ and you can add on mojito if u Buy either of the Noodles but thats a lie because you still need some card with the link points or sth.
Anyway the dish was decent, with a well seasoned soy based sauce and Noodles on the softer Side, but still had a nice bite. Pork ribs were q well caramelised
Really impressive! Wagyu beef sirloin slices were reasonably tender and rather fatty. The tripe was slightly chewy but that's where the complains end. Between the beefy beef shank slices and the light but flavourful soup, it made for a really satisfying bowl. The beef balls were the most eye-popping as unlike the usual kind, this was very slightly pink in the middle, super juicy and flavourful and wasn't too finely grounded resulting in a nice bouncy yet tender texture
Really addictive sweet, sour and spicy soup that's reminiscent of tom yum, there's a real kick at the back of your throat though, which can make you cough. Still recommended for sure if you love some heat!
i used to rec this place to people. had not been here for a year & got the pho beef combo which has always been my go-to. how disappointing! the ingredients have shrunk ALOT in portion, the beef parts were tough & smelly, the beef hard & smelled..
i just kept quiet but then found the beef balls raw in the middle. when i feedback, they took the bowl away & i expected a replacement bowl. instead they came back with the same bowl, beef balls removed, and 2 new ones placed in a separate small bowl. the only redeeming factor: still decent broth (though again not as good as before) & rice noodles perfectly cooked. but I'm not gonna pay $10.70 for plain rice noodles in beef broth.
If you like and follow their fb page
This was much better than I expected. Really thick and creamy paste with a distinct coconut cream flavour. It's difficult to explain why it's good as the corn and coconut cream are the predominant flavours but I would definitely pay for this if it weren't complimentary
Wow a full meal for 6.9++
Why choose 1 meat when u can get all of them? Beef roast pork and chicken ham were all significant and can be tasted despite the various veggies and chili sauce+mayo. Beef was very slightly tough but the other two meats were not bad. And also the bun itself was super crispy :D
The chili sauce was stunning and really addictive. Not very sure how you're supposed to eat this but each component was done well esp the very juicy and crispy pork belly
Measly amounts of pork and the soup didn't look impressive at all(compared to the photo) but it actually packs a punch and is rather flavoursome.
Somehow their service charge is 1% lol not sure if they made a mistake
Chicken looked dry at first but was actually moist enough. Well marinated and just salty enough to go with the rice. However the soup was way too salty
Don't get me wrong, I loved the summer rolls with prawns and pork belly (and the accompanying sauce) as well as the dry vermicelli with roasted lemongrass chicken and crispy pork roll, but they tasted just like any other Vietnamese franchised restaurants in Singapore and nothing spectacular. It's definitely one of the choices if you want a convenient Vietnamese food fix and group gatherings, but you may want to avoid their pho (soup-based noodles) because I found the soup really salty.
Mi goi kho heo thap cam (S$8.90++)

I had wanted light soupy stuff, hence I selected this place for its Pho. This is their Beef Tender Pho, which costs $9.60 inclusive of GST. It was kind of oily; I wasn't sure if the oil came from the soup itself or the fatty beef slices. I expected the usual beef slices for Pho, but these came with the meat sandwiched between rows of fat. It's okay, just unexpected? I'm easy with food, but even for this, I'm not sure how to take it. 2.9/5
#noodles #pho #viet
Honestly I don't love the egg (find the combination a bit weird), but the pork was very flavourful!
utterly sinful but worth the calories. can be a tad too salty but goes perfectly well with a plate of rice
from the banh mi to the snack platters, i came out contented. loved the braised pork belly and as well as the fried chicken.
thinking of dinner? prolly a good stop after your cny shopping
