Traditional smashed fried chicken served with fried tofu, tempeh & sambal belacan

Pretty well-executed & super love the crispy bits… Do note that it doesn’t come with rice so you need to add on

This meal was quite complete, with varying degrees of spices around the yellow rice. I like the chicken being super tender and easy to peel of the bone. The rendang was fragrant and juicy, I wish I could have one more piece of it for the extra satisfaction.

Really good option for Indonesian food! The portions are just right and there’s a real good kick with the chili. (7.5/10)

Food is good here. Service is fine when some of our ordered dishes were forgotten.

Curry fish head with a milky creamy sauce. The fish was prefect cooked and clothed with its sauce. So good that we can drink the sauce. However, they might need to be more generous with the veg.

Tired of all the Chinese food. Today I will be introducing another restaurant which opened throughout Chinese New Year. .

They had already been around for ten years. Serving good and traditional jawa-ness food. Most of the ingredients they used were either imported from Surabaya (Indonesia) or hand made themselves. .
|
For this dish, they skewed the chicken and marinated mainly with soy sauce and sugar. Grilled till light char then flooded with their special peanut sauce. Unlike our satay sauce, they grinned the peanut into fine powder form and mixed in the fried shallot.

To be honest i am quite disappointed with the food served. What's in the menu looks much more appealing and appetising . It's clear in my picture that the portion is so small especially the chicken!(bottom left of the picture)
Only liked the sambal aside from that was okayyyy.

Yum yum penyet
