Grilled crispy sourdough bread with bacon, cheese and perfectly scrambled eggs, accompanied with a cup of latte. Under the breakfast section, yet it is available till 4pm :)

I swap its white bread with sourdough with an extra charge. The Grilled Chicken Sandwich is enormous. This is one huge pumped up maryland chicken! layered with crispy pork bacon. And the sunny side up is an icing on the cake, it added some moisture to the sandwich. Love how tender and juicy the chicken, however not sure isn't the seasoning... It tasted a bit funny (lol). Fries is good! I can eat a basket of it on my own!

Ever crave for sweet and savoury stuff at the same time but unable to decide which to go for? Fret not! This sweet French toast with vanilla softsrve comes with crispy bacon, some almond flakes got you covered!

So.... you can sort of imagine how it would tastes like. Smoked salmon + sliced avocado + chia seed + some grass... I mean side salad.

Nestled in The Starling Mall, this stalwart bakery cafe known for good grub is also a hit for sweets! For those with a sweet tooth, the caramelised Portuguese Egg Tart (RM4.30) scores for its super buttery crust and rich custard – this will go well with a Long Black (RM11.90). On hot days, get their yummy soft serve to help you cool off. The Chocolate (RM6) is creamy yet light, while the Vanilla (RM6) is just the right level of sweetness.

Pretty chill, spacious spot, Red Kettle doesn’t just do hearty mains and great bakes. Desserts are solid too! Take the soft serve; the Chocolate’s creamy yet light, though I’m still a devoted fan of the semi-sweet, wholly delicious Vanilla. Good size for an afternoon treat too.

(Rating: 3.5/5🌟) Super buttery & crumbly crust and rich milky (less eggy) custard was not bad. The crust wasn’t hard or overly greasy! I still prefer Foo Hing Puchong’s egg tart with flaky pastry & eggy custard. And that’s more like a Portuguese type tho

This is a hidden gem. Not many places have a good dining/ food experience in a mall despite having multi food courts and chain stores.
Had their sourdough bacon and cheese and eggs, wasn’t as what the picture have shown( pictures are for illustration)
But the flavors are just nice. Nice crispy bacon with a soufflé scrambled eggs, toasted sourdough and finished with a side of salad leafs and lightly toasted cherry tomatoes. However I would recommend the chef to cool down with the butter for the bread, as it’s a bit greasy for me.. not sure if butter is cheap nowadays.
Sw, a friend of mine ordered a porkie Benedict. Perfectly done poached eggs, with braised pork on the bottom. A bit too much vinegar on the eggs, but all else is a good combination
Ordered chicken karraage, just to have something light and it’s a lightly battered chicken bites, accompanied with sweet chillie sauce and mayo.
Last is their signature coffee, am guessing it’s like a soft sabayon touch on the froth with Vietnamese coffee. Light sweetness and smooth coffee to end.
One more, the waiters.. am not sure if they have issues with work or so, but they really need to learn what is food service before working. Not friendly and somewhat impatient, and charging for each glass of water... I am just dumbfounded
Overall.. one of the best Vietnamese fusion brunch/ brunch places to dine in.

Light, fluffy scrambled eggs over bacon and toast. I forgot to take a pic but the Vietnamese coffee here is the best I’ve had in Malaysia. #burpple #starlingmalldamansarauptown

Pork pork man tou, crispy outside soft inside. Another must order - signature Portuguese tart

I can see why this is a hit. Light and custardy filling with hints of cheese, like the Hokkaido cheese tarts, this is quite good. My only gripe is I found it a tad too sweet for me. I would have liked it more if the sugar levels were tweaked down a little.

Somehow this Vietnamese meatballs banh mi caught my eye and we decided to give it a shot. It was certainly spicy and punchy and we devoured it in seconds. The baguette could have been a tad more crispy but then again I'm being unfair, with Hoi An and it's amazing banh mis still lingering in my mind.

Open up their second outlet in Starting mall. Porkie rice bowl with chargrilled 12hrs marinated pork shoulder rice, onsen egg, sweet peas, mushroom and signature sauce.

On the side homemade sausage pasta.

Fans of this bakery restaurant in Taman Desa will rejoice to know that their new outlet opens this month at the much more accessible The Starling mall. This space is much bigger, with lots of natural light and potted plants for a tranquil vibe. The large wooden tables are great for families while those dining alone may enjoy some company at the communal marble table. Red Kettle is known for comfort food — you can fill up on a Porky Bowl (RM19) with rice, roast pork and runny egg, or turn to their freshly baked Bread Basket (RM16). Order our newfound favourite, the Chicken Bakar N Rice (RM21). Redolent of galangal and lemongrass, the chargrilled chicken leg hits the spot with flavoured rice and a green chili dip. Save the adventurous spirit for dessert — a Bacon Cheesecake (RM16) topped with salted caramel sauce presents a pleasant sweet-savoury surprise. The restaurant is also working on a chic coffee bar, where one will be able to customise their own blend of roasted beans for a cuppa.
Avg price per person: RM30

I'm very picky with my pork chops. I don't like em dry. And Red Kettle promises just that! Their homemade sauce compliments the meat so well, along side with the perfectly cooked split peas!
