Decided to head down this joint post circuit breaker to get our burger fix.
It’s everything you would expect from a good Shack.
Consistency. Quality of Ingredients. Affordable prices.
It’s no surprise that they are raved about.

𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗿 $𝟵.𝟮𝟬
🙌🏻 𝗢𝗞𝗨𝗥𝗥𝗥
Perfectly toasted buns. Juicy Patty. Gooey Cheese.
MMMM
All that you’re looking for in a nice burger.

𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 $𝟱.𝟵𝟬

The chicky was nice and moist. Though I wouldn’t pay $9.20 for that.
If you’re looking for a better bang for your buck, grab dat mcspicy y’all

To celebrate the opening, diners can get the first taste of the limited-time Shackmeister menu, which will be available exclusively at this outlet before it debuts across all outlets on 5 October till 16 November. This Shackmeister menu consists of three items, namely the Shackmeister Burger ($10.90, single patty), Shackmeister Dog ($6.50) and Shackmeister Cheese Fries ($5.90). All three are upgraded versions of the normal orders with the addition of a generous topping of crispy fried shallots that has been first marinated with the custom-brew Shackmeister ale, coated with the Chick’n Shack batter, flour, cayenne and paprika before it goes into the deep fryer. If you have been requesting for onion rings to be included in the Shake Shack menu, now is the time to get the Shackmeister menu as these fried shallots are essentially onion rings in your burger, flat-top dog and fries.

In addition to the trio of Shackmeister, the other outlet exclusive item is the Matcha Made in Heaven, a vanilla Concrete dessert blended with strawberry yuzu jam and buttery shortbread and topped with matcha powder. Now you can play a part in supporting a charity as part of Shake Shack’s mission to Stand for Something Good, 5% of the sales from the Shack Attack concrete desserts will go to a charitable organization.

Jewel is empty now so this is a good time to visit. 5mins queue is pretty shiok

Bacon was crisp but abit dry, shack sauce was basically mayo but Tangier and got some mustard I think. The chopped cherry pepper was fine, luckily there's minimal heat and I heard some people had theirs cold. I really don't like the brioche bun tho, the meat and the sauce need to be extra gao to justify a brioche, else the butteriness and the density of the bun is unchecked. Overall a passable burger, slightly overpriced.

Rant:
My image of shake shack has always been a decent fast food chain. Finally I had a chance to try at the store in singapore and it didn't change my opinion. If you've never paid for a gourmet burger(>15) before, ofc this is gonna be the best burger you've had. And a lot of people proclaiming that will feed into the hype. So yes it's overhyped, if you really love burgers go get a proper one. Then again can't really blame any place for the hype they generate, they're not responsible for it(the crowd is)

💵: $9.20

🤔: Chicken was flavourful, though not the moistest or juiciest
Would have preferred a burger of a more substantial size because this didn't fill me up at all...

💵: $5.90

🤔: Cheese is pretty mild-tasting so I'd recommend bringing some chilli sauce if ketchup isn't your thing
Gotta gobble these up quick as the aircon @ this outlet is pretty strong on L2 and it'll leave ur fries cold n yucky
