You may be fooled by their promotion at the storefront but the price actually not that cheap. Hot Pot for 2 persons with drinks may be resulted in total bill $50++. Given there’s extra charge for dipping sauce per person. With service and GST.

However overall food was satisfying, although not fantastic. Good for family lunch or dinner. As they provide incentives of soft toys if you accumulate points.

$39.90 with free flow drinks.

Very filling, ordered their set meal for two. Don’t have to add any alacarte items.

So shiok on a cold rainy evening

Shi LI Fang offers 50% off their Ala-carte menu with a variety of vegetables, meat and seafood. On top of that, there are 20 types of dipping sauces that we can mix and match with our food. Not the best hot pot but it's value for money and good for group gatherings.

The set meal consist of Japanese Kurobuta, Japanese Wagyu, fresh pork tenderloin, Australian beef and vegetable platter. I was pleasantly surprised that the meat was fresh (I.e., not frozen) and the quality was really good. My only qualm is that the meat was too thinly sliced.

You’re allowed to choose two soup bases. I picked the tonic chicken soup as well as the tomato soup. The pot came with a “pocket” where you can cook your meat without losing them into the big pot of soup. Awesome!

I must have had at least 8 Hotpots this month.
There is something about the Chinese New Year with Jan, and the mood of gathering and chit chatting with friends while waiting for food to be cooked.
Let me know which is your Favourite Hotpot place, and think I need to jio more friends for one or two more rounds before DIET officially begins!

This is from Shi Li Fang, Taiwanese style hotpot from City Square Mall.

$9.90++ hotpot set for 1 person, good deal and quite decent! I got the signature chicken set, which is chicken meat marinated in some kinda (slightly) spicy sauce. Many soup base choices and you get to pick two. Comes with a drink that you can get add 60¢ to make it free flow.
