Went for dinner and shook by the variety of the dishes. Got the Negitoro Don and beef potato stew and is definitely not disappointed by it. If only the menu can gives pictures for reference. But I have my eyes on the stewers and will come back for it :)
The skewers are delicious and filling enough, with the tsukune my favourite of the lot. The chicken wing skewer was tasty but a tad too salty for my liking. Apart from that, we had the aburi saba mackerel, agedashi tofu and chicken karaage which were all really well done. Would return once in a while for the food and ambience but price a bit too steep to return regularly.
Really good ambiance! Their skewers were well seasoned and delicious, and their soba (warm) broth was very flavourful. I really enjoyed myself and will be back again!
Had the 5 Pcs Kushiyaki Chef’s Recommendation ($18) (comprises of mushroom, bacon-wrapped aspharagus, chicken balls, chicken meat, chicken wing skewers) , it is so worth it and we were mindblown by the depth of flavour. Everything was soo good, except the wrapped aspharagus which was still acceptable.
The mentai rosti ($9), its so unique! The potatoes are nicely shredded like noodles, what impresses me is the texture which has a nice crunch and bite, cooked just perfectly. And you simply can’t go wrong w mentaiko.
The sweet premium sake ($33/ 180 ml) is well-bodied, smooth and has a palatable sweetness with a non-aggressive aftertaste. Rounded with a slighty fruity note. Please do give this a try.

Shukuu has an amazing ambience that allows one to chill with friends over some drinks. The dishes we ordered were really delicious and would highly recommend the mentai rosti and mentai aburi salmon! Food was served promptly and service was great. Will come back again!
