This was the other favourite dish of mine, of the dishes ordered at our company’s annual dinner gathering.
Crispy crackling with tender meat on the insides. Love the seasoned knuckle with the cumin spices, as it makes it a lot more aromatic whilst consuming it!
Came to this outlet for our company annual gathering dinner. This was one of my favourite dishes amongst the various dishes ordered. The cracking was crispy and meat was warm and moist.
The food from Starkers is generally good, hence we chose Starkers. However, the staff at this outlet needs some customer service retraining. After approaching a male staff of our reservation, he told us that the centralised aircon switches on at 6pm only (we were a few minutes early), and so we could wait outside if it’s too stuffy inside. Whilst standing outside to wait, GE actually said “can you all take a seat, because from the CCTV, to the management it would look like we haven’t been attended to”. Would it have been better if he had said “take a seat on the chairs available while waiting”, instead of telling us it would reflect badly on him that we stood around and not be seated. (Amongst other service comments made by this service staff).

Unfiltered and unpasteurised with 7 days shelf life, this award winning flavour gives a robust, clean, crisp and smooth aftertaste.
Derived from German word which means stronger, Starker's beers are stored in barrels for consumption, & a wooden mallet is used to drive a metal tap into the barrel to dispense the beer. Barrels like this could easily quench a small town, like it that they brought out new frosted glass in replacement of the old glass which got accustomed to room temperature. freshness from the first gulp right to the last. Here, every day is Oktoberfest, even better this month that they're at iLight.
Marinated with Starker's secret recipe slow-roasted to royal perfection & beautifully topped with fried onions, the tender succulent meat were wrapped in crisp crackling skin. The grand hock was also served alongside with some sauerkraut, cherry tomatoes, Starker beer sauce, house salad & a seriously delectable creamy mash we couldn't resist. Each mouthful is a burst of flavours, definitely one excellent dish with wonderful complexity that'll draw many envious stares all around.
Food coma mode was enabled within an hour into the feast, but people who know me have witnessed that I couldn't stop eating. Seconds please!

The upper floor of this bistro has a pleasant ambience. I had the sous vide chicken roulade ($22.80), which was tender enough but could have done with a little more salt. The only flavourful parts of the dish were the sautéed greens! While the staff were polite, service could have been a little more prompt, such as in the refilling of water. #BurppleXChope

We have been there so many times that we lost count, freshest craft beer (they change the frosted mug half way thru, only place to do that ) and the food is good too ! #BurppleCraftBeer

I would say, I would prefer this location then the other branch. The food is nicer a lot more than the Holland.
A must order for the pork lover. Portion good enough for two person. Well mixed of pork meat, fats and skin. Skin might be too tough for some soft eaters.
This herb crust salmon fillet with mashed potato ... is absolutely *fill in the blanks*. Well, a pictures means differently to everyone, you gotta taste it to know it.
Flame-grilled big fresh juicy Scallops drizzled with yuzu wasabi sauce, mentaiko dressing and mayonnaise.👌😋
