A standard mediocre 90 mins buffet with few delicious dish from the limited choice menu.

What is dim sum without Har Gao and Siew Mai right?๐คฃ Congee is comforting.โบ๏ธ Yam Puff is crispy nice.๐
One time serving of crispy prawn cheong fun, the crispy prawn taste overwhelm the cheong fun blandness making it can't taste much of the authenticness of the rice noodle roll.๐
We all agree that their springy slurpy noodles with their special mix sauce plus the fresh bouncey prawn wonton is the only dish that will make us come back again to dine.๐
Ending of with Desserts which are only available during dinner and weekend.

I don't usually eat chicken skin but because this one was so well done; imagine soft and succulent chicken pieces. The ginger paste too was very well blended and it enhanced the taste of the chicken so much that it felt that eating chicken rice at times. Definitely lived up as the signature of soup restaurant!
Ordered the signature chicken, 3 eggs spinach, tomato egg and claypot tofu! Soup restaurant is always so delicious. I love the spinach and the tofu. The tofu here has a v nice starchy taste? The tomato egg has a really nice eggy taste too.
Had a quick lunch before my flight & food came out fast & hot! Yum! Loved all the dimsum & the century egg poridge!
This was perfect as a light snack. The dumplings were stuffed full of fresh bouncy prawns. Sometimes I encounter more pork than prawn in the dumplings but this was not the case here. The soup was good too. Staff told me it was chicken soup, but I also detected some herbal taste inside. I finished every drop.
I requested no century egg for this. The minced meat was tasty and had good chewy texture. Congee was well seasoned. Very satisfying.
This dish was stated as โwhile stocks lastโ which lit a fire in my eyes. Apparently the preparation was too tedious and they took it out. Back by popular demand. Of cos I gotta have it. I even abandoned my fav Samsui Chicken for this. Was it worth it? Not really. It was nice, and the sauce was very flavorful. But not the same level as Samsui. The quantity was quite modest. There was a mound of fresh, crisp lettuce at the bottom. I will order this occasionally for a change, but Samsui is still dear to my heart.
This was room temperature but the prawn was still crispy. Overall not as good as the one at Treasures in Paragon. I would prefer their sauce to be given separately. Adding a little bit of their very he bi sambal chili was nice.
This was such a delightful little snack. Hot and crispy. Full of fresh prawns inside. I enjoyed every crunch.
The default chili for this was the sliced green chili. I requested for sambal chili. It had a very strong he bi taste, which I didnโt like. The noodles and char siew were ok. Soup was too salty.
How can I eat at Soup Restaurant w/o ordering this? As good as ever. So tender and succulent. I โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ the sauce. Made my day. ๐คค
I didn't expect to like this beancurd skin roll, mainly bcos I usually order the fried version. But I'm trying to cut down on fried food so gave this a try. Very chewy, which I liked. The sauce was really yummy. Beancurd skin a bit thick.
Another of their popular dishes, looking vibrant and appetizing without any filter.
Sprinkled with generous amount of silky smooth egg whites, the tomato chili sauce which bears a similar taste to our chili crab sauce, it was simple yet excellent. Also, tofu were bouncy soft & the prawns were fresh.
Tender and really smooth chicken meat, finely chopped ginger complemented with ginger sauce and sesame oil which made it taste surprisingly sweet. Don't be afraid to order the bigger portion because you will finish it.
He took me here just for the chicken ("how have you not had Soup Restaurant's chicken??"), and it was delicious.
My kind of brunch on a raining afternoon.๐ฉ๐ฉ

If you have a penchant for dim sum, some of my favourite and you must try it. ๐๐Samsui Ginger Bao, Crispy Prawn Cheong Fun, Mushroom Bao, Siew Mai, Ha Kao, and Fried Yam Cake. Samsui Ginger Bao is up for ordering with flavourful fragrant ginger sauce with steamed chicken๐ฅ๐ฅ wrapped in a fluffy bun.๐๐ Crispy Prawn๐ฆ๐ฆ Cheong Fun worth mentioning a the thin layer of skin wrapping a savoury chunchy batter of juicy prawn.

Ending your meal with dessert like herbal jelly, double boiled snow fungus with ginkgo and red tea aloe vera jelly if you happen to dine in on weekend or dinner. I am sure you can have more than one bowl for dessert.๐๐

Iโve had no issues with the consistency of the chicken across the various outlets they have. The skin is always smooth, the flesh is always tender and juicy, and itโs always lightly seasoned, clean and cool.

Itโs always so refreshing and invigorating to bundle up a piece of chicken in the cold crisp lettuce, add a dollop of the addictively fragrant, salty and spicy ginger mix, and stuffing the entire thing into your mouth.

This is probably one of my ultimate comfort foods.
