Everyone knows about THE @thekinscafe Burnt Basque Cheesecake, but did you know that they serve up an awesome brunch spread as well? ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿฅž๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿณ

Just look at that beautiful fluffy, scrambled egg, paired with a buttery croissant and savoury Candied Bacon ๐Ÿฅ“ and Feta Cheese, with smoky paprika generously sprinkled throughout the dish. Paired with a creamy, floral cold brew coffee in a chill setting, this was a thoroughly enjoyable brunch! ๐Ÿ˜‹๐ŸŒฟโค๏ธ

This pretty cafe at Pasir Panjang has gone through many renditions for their burnt cheesecakes, but we think they've finally found the one. Many people have been raving about the Hojicha Burnt Cheesecake ($8.50), and as Burppler Zul Latiff describes, "I've never been a fan of cheesecake really, but The Kins' burnt cheesecake (both the original and this) converted me just like THAT."

Her impatience was justified though because this ๐—›๐—ผ๐—ท๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐—ต๐—ฎ ๐—•๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ป๐˜ ๐—–๐—ต๐—ฒ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐—ฎ๐—ธ๐—ฒ was almost as good as the classic.
It had the same airy texture with a velvety core that's as smooth as your ex's pickup lines. I also loved how the roasted sweetness of the Hojicha paired with the cream cheese for a dreamily luxurious fragrance.
@thekinscafe is still open for delivery and takeaway! Brera's hojicha one is highly rated too but haven't tried cos CB problems ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ

$8 for original/ $8.50 for hojicha.
This is my first time trying burnt cheesecake. After keep seeing it on social media, I finally made the decision to give it a try!
Ordered from the kins because (1)saw so many good reviews (2)they serve in slices instead of only whole cake and (3)the minimum order for free delivery is not as high as other places.
First mouth was nice but not that fantastic.. however this will grow on you! I did not feel gelat at all even after eating half slice in one go, as the aftertaste of burnt cheesecake was much lighter than usual cheesecakes.
Both original and hojicha tasted great but would prefer the original one to keep it simple:)
As we ate after refrigerating for half a day, would wanna try โ€œfresherโ€ version in the cafe after CB ends.

PSA yes they're open for takeaway, even if they are uncontactable at times

Might just be the best I've had. Super creamy centre, fluffy molten texture almost throughout(they even warn you not to serve at room temperature). Right amount of sweetness, and the rich but faint umami from the cheese lingers around as well. On top of that ;), there's the crispy burnt top. WOW

This one is for hojicha connoisseurs. Superb creamy molten texture(please chill before serving if taking away, else it's almost literally smoothie texture lol), muted sweetness, and intense tea aroma. Don't order this if you love cheesecake, this doesn't have any cheesecake notes; it's more hojicha in puree form ><
Ultimately stunning, if you're a big fan of tea
