I don’t know why the waiter recommended the 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐚𝐢𝐤𝐨𝐧 𝐍𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐝 ($𝟐𝟑) but it was awful. I would usually just finish the food even if it’s bad, but this was hard to get down. 🥴
They claim to have added a lime, ginger and sesame dressing, but there is no distinguishable flavour other than a stark bitterness and old taste of the daikon ‘noodles’. We asked them if the dish was supposed to taste like that and they offered us more dressing, which was just OIL?
Also for the salmon, while really crispy on the outside, it was pretty overcooked. This dish was... a hard pass.

I mean, for a restaurant that prides themselves on the rawness of their ingredients, I would expect the ingredients to be a lot fresher. We intended to get dessert too, but after that last dish, we were outta there.

The 𝐙𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐢 𝐋𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐧𝐞 ($𝟐𝟎) doesn’t win any marks on looks, but it’s deceptively flavourful! It’s quite unlike anything I’ve tried before, thin slices of zucchini and tomato, layered with taco ‘meat’ (I have no idea what it was), creamy cashew mayo, macadamia cheese and pesto.
The portion looks small but it’s quite filling as the dish is very creamy! The different sauces had distinctive flavour profiles that melded well together. But I just wish that the tomato sauce was fresher

Had the zucchini lasagne ($20), mango-pineapple-turmeric smoothie ($8/9), turmeric latte ($7.50), and truffle chocolate with pistachio ($3.50). Food was definitely not cheap, but a good treat every once in a while. Loved the ambiance even on a Saturday afternoon.

The lasagne was good, but because it’s made of raw food, it’s a cold dish (just for info). While the smoothie was generally nice (you can’t go wrong with mango and pineapple), I couldn’t really taste the turmeric and the smoothie wasn’t really worth the price I paid. Maybe for $5 it’ll be alright. The turmeric latte with hazelnut milk was alright, didn’t feel it warrant $7.50 though. The truffle with pistachio was pretty good, made of raw cacao and other raw ingredients. Will be back to try their other desserts!

Being an avid eater of processed food, I must say the food here opened my eyes to “farm to table” and the beauty of fresh food. Tad pricey for my own lifestyle but definitely recommend for those who want a fresher diet!

This cost SGD20 - is it worth it? How much and how easy to make at home?

Looking for a healthy yet tasty rice bowl? Look no further!

The barramundi is very fresh and cooked just right. To add flavor to this rice bowl, it comes with 2 sauces on the side - pesto sauce and gazapo sauce (some sort of mexican tasting tomato sauce). The pesto sauce is rich and flavourful, while the gazapo sauce adds a nice tang to the rice bowl. There is also a small serving of avocado, tomatoes, cucumbers and onions.

Overall, a very wholesome and yummy rice bowl. Will come back again for more!
