It's a very good family friendly version. Flavourful cream sauce with nice aroma of green curry. Pasta was cooked well and it wasn't too jelat. The ckn is minced
Worth a try if you're here
Miso cream was weak, the mushrooms were cold. Patty was decent tho, it's a proper medium rare(you can request)
Overall decent, quite unexpected from a school restaurant and better than many out there
Oh my god. Gelatinous, absolutely flavour packed lamb shank stew between slightly crispy wraps.
This stunned
Huge portion and quite well executed. Thick sauce w lamb umami, it's as good as you can expect at this price
Worth a try if you're here

Excellent as well. The sauce is the jus from slow braised beef brisket. Utterly luscious. Their pasta itself is ok as well
Must try if you're in the area

Honestly one of the best I've had. Damn
The cream sauce was full of umami and not jelak. The mushrooms were high quality too, probably porcini cos they were so meaty
Must try, I can't believe this is in NUS
Havenβt tried this one but my friend tried it. The portion is great and he said it tastes alright. Their signature seems to be beef burger. If itβs time to be back at NUS, we might come back to try again. π€
Back to school time! (Long time since last visit π) π Order this vegetarian dish in their burger & sandwich section to try. Starting off with corn chips with a refreshing salsa (not spicy at all but still enjoy this). Underneath the thin layer of tortilla, we found capsicum, mushroom and cheese. A decent plate that visually looks appetizing and tastes alright.
Signature Nyonya Mee Siam Set (S$10.90+)
Which included drink + mini cake
Available on Monday at @TheRoyalsSG in @NUS_Singapore
Not too spicy, the gravy was rich and slightly sour with a sweet after taste. Donβt forget the rich sambal that served with it.
Selected iced honey π― lemon π drink to go with it.
And ended the meal with a coconut stuffed swiss roll.

The pan-fried salmon with lemon butter sauce, mash and salad greens is an excellent option if you want something light and healthy. The fillet is pretty huge, and seared to achieve a good crisp on the skin while the meat remains moist and tender. π
This beef burger is SUPERB for its freshly made patty made in-house and cooked upon order till a medium doneness. The patty thus reveals a juicy, pink centre upon slicing, holding its shape firmly and not crumbling apart. Sandwiched between two toasted, buttered buns, with melted cheese, BBQ sauce, pickles and caramelized onions, this is one burger that meets all the good burger essentials. (It comes with fries but I swapped mine for greens)
Having a hot mocha between studying and getting my next big breakthrough... I think I am almost getting an epiphany. Or at least I found a place to have good coffee in school. #brainfood #coffee #burpple
Humongous portions that made me skip dinner for the day. Lamb fell off the bone, red wine sauce leaned more towards mushroom, and the buttered mashed potatoes were delectable. A little pricey, but I guess it's worth a splurge once in a while.
Hearty (portion): 5/5
Tasty (product): 4/5
Worthy (price): 3/5
the royals beef burger is really good! the patty is always medium rare and super flavourful! plus after NUS discount its only 10.50?! the apple mint lemonade was good too but at $4.50 it felt a bit expensive. I ordered the beef panini on my first visit and it was really good too! will be back to try their coffee and pretty cakes.

Food:
1) Prawn & Mushroom Linguine [$11.90+]
Five plump, tender but obviously defrosted prawns sit atop some very mediocre pasta. Sufficient chilli oil, not enough garlic.
2) Royals' Nyonya Mee Siam [$9.50+]
My friend literally ordered this because of its accompanying "Recommended" logo.
It's as good as any Toast Box rendition, albeit at a higher price, presumably from the presence of earlier said prawns also.

It's not like Sapore's offering much competition for Western fare, but Royals seems content with joining the former's ranks in food standards.
At least it's halal & on campus?
