Oh, the irony! To swing by Singapore Cocktail Festival and be bewitched by the worldā€™s first distilled non-alcoholic spirits.
Gorgeous branding and packaging aside, the ā€œGarden 108ā€ by Seedlip when mixed with tonic water and served with a bouquet of fresh herbs, intoxicated in its own way. As I brought the drink closer to my mouth, the scent of the herbs filled my nostrils, awakening my senses to greet the bloom of that first sip. It tasted of earthā€™s fertility to me - floral, grassy, herbal. Like lush green gardens still wet from rain, so rich yet remarkably fresh and clean. Itā€™s simply wonderful.
I love the fact that when Iā€˜m in the mood for a good non-alcoholic cocktail, there is now this as an option. So far, it seems that Seedlip drinks can be had here and Caffe Fernet (I think thereā€™s another spot but canā€™t recall where). Bottle purchase can be made at @ecproof and @templecellars. By the way, this isnā€™t a paid ad or sponsorship. I just wanted to share something I discovered and enjoyed very much.

With the fat rendered from the A5 Kagoshima wagyu for our beef omakase dinner at @standingsushibar, the cocktail bar @the.secret.mermaid used it to infuse @catoctincreek's Roundstone Rye whiskey and triple sieved it to create this aromatic infusion.

Supply is extremely limited, so it'll only be available next week or until it runs out. Drop by if you would like to try it, and have @kelly.kah create a cocktail using this fat-washed whiskey for you.

I must say the Wagyu fat washed whisky was really good. Check them out for some interesting cocktails. I hear that there is a beef bourguignon one coming up.

Rather, I think they are a perfect match! Packaged in wooden box, this Gin & Tonic Box from @the.secret.mermaid consists of 60ml marco polo tea infused halfmoon gin, apple bitters, dehydrated apples, dried rose and kilombero chocolate blended with marco polo tea.

This place imports craft spirits from American distilleries; most of the spirits you see here are made in very small batches so try to take this opportunity to sample as many as you can. The bartenders are extremely friendly and make great quality cocktails šŸ‘ŒšŸ¼ A small but cosy chill out spot with yummy snacks - great place to hang out with your colleagues after work

D said that they are well known for their cocktails. It is a hidden bar, I personally thought that the shop was closed until D pushed the metal door. Anyway craft beer drinkers definitely should pay a visit. D ordered Redhook Longhammer IPA 6.2% (S$ 16) and I had the Devil in the details cocktail (S$ 20) which is made of dragonfruit with whiterum, dragonfruit and lime juice.#burpple #burpplesg #sgdrinks
