Went for date night at The Wine & Gourmet Friends and it was surprisingly busy for a Tuesday Night! Thank goodness we made a booking and got our seats right away :)

We ordered laksa mussels, bakuteh risotto, pork belly to share. My favourite were the laksa mussels - the broth was so fragrant and coconuty! The risotto was nicely cooked too, and the bakuteh was just so tender. The pork belly was crispy and packed with flavour.
we ended our dinner with chocobanana, a banana cake desert with coconut icecream :)

The staff were prompt and sincere too. We really enjoyed our time and will come back again!

Went down on last week and had a really tasty Kurobuta Pork Loin Chip and Teh 'C'. The Kurobuta pork was tender and juicy, full of flavors and paired with truffle mash, brings out both the difference in texture. Ended of with a Teh 'C' which is a Tie Guan Yin tea Ice cream with chocolate pearls and popping candies, this 3 comes together gave a whole new different depth and triggers my taste buds! What an exciting experience!

The Kurobuta Pork Chop took the show at dinner last night. The meat was tender and the pesto went perfectly with it! The truffle mash on the side was the first I've ever had and they were amazing!!

Its the perfect place for dinner after work! Their creative menu and wide selection of wines will not disappoint!

As they claim, they are indeed specialist in pork and wine! My pal and I had the red wine and rose for $6 each. Wine tasted well with the generous portion of mentaiko fries and chilli crab flatbread! Also had the kurobuta pork which was served with truffles, mushroom and mashed potato - interesting combination with the pork .Truly and pleasant experience here:-)

Visited during lunch time and had the Icelandic cod fish and chips. The chips were served as mentaiko fries and it was the best I've had! The fish was also very fresh. Ended the meal off with the Choconana for dessert, the coconut ice cream paired with the banana cake and burnt caramel chocolate sauce created a very complementary texture and taste. Staff were very welcoming and friendly too!

A cosy restaurant with great food. Ordered the Duck Magret and the Camembert Flatbread, both were great dishes with amazing flavour. The main dish is great choice as the duck was succulent and tender.
Service was great as well and I was recommended red wine with to pair with my duck by a friendly staff.
