This is another stall that has been included in Michelin Bib Gourmand List. The steamed chicken ($5.30 for drum stick and chicken wing rice) is really smooth and tender, and the skin has a jelly-like consistency. It goes well with the salted vegetables served on the side and the fiery chilli. However, the rice is too dry for my liking - wished it is more moist and fluffy. Interestingly, this stall also sells fried Ngor Hiang ($3) and I love how crispy and fragrant it is.

The chicken is very tender n it feels great havin it ! The rice was fine n so was the soup... its still worthy n i find its chicken very delightful.

The picture is ugly because I couldn’t resist eating it before taking a photo.

When I was there at around 6pm, they have sold out the roasted chicken.

The acidity from the salted vegetable blends in the chicken rice superbly, bringing out the fragrance of the rice.

And the chilli is perfect. Enough tanginess to equate the spiciness

Chicken rice, condiments and soup are blurred out here because the focus is really on the tender chicken slices and crispy tofu. Fried tofu was drizzled with sweet, spicy sauce - thai style. It comes with a small serving of bean sprout for a balanced meal. Pocket friendly meal which satisfy the tummy 🐓

Price: SGD3.00
For the price, I really appreciate that the chicken portion is generous. It has a good mixture of parts so u get some skin, fatty part and the meaty part.

This has a Michelin Bib Gourmand award, but to be honest, I found it quite meh. The rice doesn’t have enough flavour for me and I found the meat to be rather bland. To each their own I guess! I suppose if you’re looking for a healthier, lighter chicken rice, this is it.
