75% dark choco was really rich! pistachio was not nutty enough for me. but $11 for a small is 🥶🥶🥶
The photo do no justice to the taste! We ordered a large cone at $13 which comes with 4 big scoops.
We chose the tiramisu, pistachio, strawberry and the new flavour that has tangerine + passionfruit.
Every flavour had its own burst 💥 and we enjoyed the ice cream thoroughly. Adding in how good the cone was too.
10/10!
4⭐ If not the Entertainer 1 for 1 deal, Venchi ice cream is relatively expensive. To make full use of the deal, we ordered 3 scoops of ice cream. The flavours we chose are Tiramisu, Dark Chocolate & Hazelnut. The price does not differ on choosing a cup or cone. The ice cream is rich and is one of the best we had in SG.

Used the Entertainer 25% and order 3 regular ice cream. All are of good quality and delicious.
Venchi is popular for their chocolate ice cream and you can find them in a few places here.
To go with the full satisfaction, I definitely recommend to go with their large size which comes with 3 flavours.
I do understand it get melt pretty fast in Singapore weather, so it is a challenge to eat it fast before it melts.
So I would suggest you get any chocolate piece as the 3rd flavour like me on the top of it.
This is one of the least likely Burpple to use but trust me it’s worth! Every chocolate is usually $3 ish but now u can get them at $1-2, the choices are wide with various range of intensity - my week of chocolate snacks have been elevated to extravagance💕
We visited at approx 8pm but sadly most of the flavours were sold out so we settled for these 2 fruity flavours which we wouldn't usually get.
The strawberry sorbet (50% less sugar compared to regular strawberry flavour) was really light with a tinge of sour. The was heavily contrasted with the pineapple coconut gelato which was much sweeter and creamier. Not the best combination of flavours as the latter overshadowed the former but the pineapple coconut gelato was much nicer than expected! Wouldn't really recommend the strawberry though, as it was too light for us.
Went past Venchi at MBS today after dinner and we thought it would be great to grab a dessert! As Venchi's regular gelato was on Burpple, we got a one-for-one regular gelato, with each gelato containing two scoops of ice cream! :) For this cup, we got the cappuccino and matcha white chocolate flavours!
The cappuccino had a pretty intense coffee flavour and it was really legit. By contrast, the matcha white chocolate flavour tasted more like a scoop of white chocolate ice cream, as the matcha flavour was close to non-existent. Certainly not what we were expecting and we felt the cappuccino flavour was much better!
It was a little disappointing that most of the flavours were sold out by the time we visited Venchi (around 8 pm), so there were not many flavours left to choose from. Do visit earlier if you have to have more choice for your dessert!
Nothing could go wrong with Venchi's gelato offerings! It's incredibly expensive but worth every penny, and made more worthwhile with Burpple's 1-1 deal ($10 for a regular cup -2 scoops, so essentially it means 4 scoops!) This time, we tried a new flavour - probably not that new on the menu anymore but it's definitely the first time i'm coming across this flavour.
Taste profile: Unique!
Matcha hint was just right but perhaps slightly masked by the citrusy hint from the lemon. Pieces of white chocolate added to the mouthfeel. As with all of Venchi's gelato that I've tried thus far, it's creamilicious and rich. Very yum!
Both of us had the hazelnut ice cream. His pure hazelnut and mine with swirls of chocolate/ Nutella spread in it. The one with chocolate was too jelak and heavy that I couldn’t finish it and needed water ASAP. Matcha was pleasant with ribbons of white chocolate giving it abit more sweetness. Banana split was okay not a fan of it. Side note, came to try the pistachio but sadly it was sold out
always love myself a good, creamy gelato after dinner nearby. Got the banana split & dark chocolate flavours as shown here :)) the texture is great!
Pistachio was good as usual - nutty, thick creamy texture. Banana dark choc was pretty decent, had a balanced amount of banana & dark choc flavours. Texture was thick but there was a slightly graininess to it. Aggs & I both find that their gelatos are generally quite sweet actually, texture is good but if they could cut down the sweetness it would be ideal 👌🏼
Being at Venchi for the first time, I thought of going for one of their more interesting flavours - Matcha with white chocolate! Surprisingly, there was anything but matcha in that scoop! The ice cream tasted much more heavily of yuzu and lemon, with bits of white chocolate providing some sweetness.
Just to highlight, the mini scoop is not really that small and in my opinion, it is more than enough for one person!
Interesting flavours. Coconut flavour was refreshing. Matcha was my next favourite. Not much of a matcha taste but the chocolate bits were a nice crunch.
RICH. That is the best way i can describe the gelato at this place. I think one regular cup of 2 flavors for $5 is worth it. Meaning to say that if we didn't have Burpple I'm not too sure if I'd get it over other things like a magnum or something.
It was pretty sinful to say the least. I don't think I'd eat this while walking around outside though. Maybe in a mall or sitting down and having a long conversation sounds good. I think if they started selling hot chocolate it would be a big hit.
The dark chocolate here is top quality, they really do live up to their name as a brand that specialises in cocoa products. The dark chocolate gelato was good but too gooey in my opinion, tasted a bit more like sticky chewy than I like. Will defo get it again even if its not $5/scoop. The vanilla ice cream was surprisingly light and good and tbh I think it'd go really well with the dark chocolate gelato. Would've loved to have it at a chill and quiet cafe with some soft jazzy music. Just wanna feel classy with this luxurious gelato ~
I believe we ordered Salted Caramel, Stracciatella, Matcha and one of the chocolate gelato. I came expecting to see the Panna Cotta flavour but it has been sadly replaced by others 😭
I was quite blown away by the first mouth of the Salted Caramel and Stracciatella, but it was a little too sweet for me and melted pretty quickly as well. The matcha was a miss for me, the yuzu taste overpowered the matcha, and it was a confusing experience. The chocolate was rich and not too sweet, and my partner said that the matcha paired surprisingly well with the chocolate.
Overall, still worth it when purchased with Burpple Beyond, and bill came up to $10 for 2 cones and 4 flavours.
Redeemed this for free with a MBS voucher. It is pricey at its original price tag, but it was also a super rich, dense and sinful scoop of chocolate hazelnut gelato. Texture was thick and smooth. It was more on the sweeter end than what we usually prefer, but we didn’t mind the indulgence! If you have Burpple Beyond, you can get 1 for 1 of their regular scoops, chocolate bars and mix chocolates.
This combination of flavours were not ideal for me. I wanted to try the interesting blend of strawberry and chocolate chips - italian style. But it was overly sweet in my opinion. The tiramisu was acceptable flavour wise, with a strong coffee taste, and if you’re lucky/unlucky, you get a taste of an overly bitter coffee bean🥴 yet, it was not anything impressive. perhaps the flavours would be elevated better paired with other scoops. Nonetheless, since this were the two flavours I chose, I was arguably disappointed in how both worked out. I did have higher expectations for the tiramisu especially.

The pistachio flavour did its job - it hit both the texture of what a gelato should be and the nutty flavour. On the other hand, the matcha flavour did not taste anything like matcha at all. In any case, the lemon and white chocolate flavour trumped the matcha flavour, relegating it to a be a very subtle undertone. Funnily though, I still enjoyed the ‘matcha’ flavour. I liked the lemon, citrus kick in the slightly chocolatey, supposedly matcha scoop. While the matcha flavour was ultimately not met, I have to admit that it may still be an interesting flavour worth trying from Venchi.
