I wanted to order their lava cakes as I just recovered frm flu allergy like recently 🥲. I decided to get berry sure waffles ($14.80). I really like their waffles and got strong egg aftertaste. It's turned slightly soggy for waffles once it's topped with ice cream and sauce if not its quite ok.
Finally tried this cafe for a long time 😅 the cafe is quite famous for their chocolate dessert and waffles. I really like their dessert but they also selling mains for brunch. My sis ordered their blackout cake ($8.80) and mango passionfruit sorbet ($4.20) (+$1.50 premium). Their blackout cake is quite good but slowly turned to be a bit jelak. 🥲
Egg pasta with duck, duck liver sausage grated into the dish and cream sauce.
This is a sweeter type of savoury dish due to the liver sausage, and once again, quite the small portion for the dish. 😦
The duck slices however, were substantially thick and chewy which was pretty good 👍🏻
Good dish. It was delicious, but the portion was quite little. One scoop of the spoon and I can see the bottom of the bowl.
I added a hash-brown and it costed an additional $2. Crispy and well-done, but not very worth it in my opinion
Was too full to get their waffle so we decided to try this instead. Expect to wait around 20-30mins for this, which is great if you need some time to digest your dinner. The wait definitely did not disappoint. The cake was filled with warm luscious chocolate which was neither too sweet or too gelat. Loved the biscuit crumbs by the side which added an extra crunch to the dessert.
What I couldn't understand though was the addition of the berry compote :o Lava chocolate mixed with berry compote (which was quite sour) isn't a good idea in our opinion. It would have been better if fresh berries were used instead.
We got the honey cinnamon ice cream and it was a nice pair with the lava cake since it was quite light on the palate.
$15 (no ++ yay!)
Got the waffles with a single scoop of gelato (lemon meringue). Was really impressed with how fluffy and light the waffles were! The waffles alone is rather tasteless but when paired with the chocolate sauce and gelato, it was absolutely wonderful! Lemon meringue also was a good choice as it was less gelat. The staff there are really friendly too. Will definitely visit again!
Dishes Ordered: Waffles with Ice Cream, Bacon & Egg Crepe, Spaghetti Carbonara with Bacon.
Im not sure why their website menu is different from the one at their cafe. Waffles was the best, fluffly and just nice, even after the ice cream melted and the waffles soaked the liquid, it was still nice. Crepe was freshly and very nice. Spaghetti portion was just nice such that it wont get jelat after eating. Drinks was good too.
Staffs are friendly and attentive.
Highly recommend.
I’ve heard of Wimbly Lu before but have never went down so since we were at Creamery Boutique which is just nearby Wimbly Lu, we decided to head there. From the outside, the ambience and interior already made fall in love with this place; it exudes elegance and a chill vibe with the dim lightings and vintage furnishings👌
Ordered their Waffle with Truffle Chocolate ice cream ($10.50) and for a place like this, no service charge? 👏 The waffle came not too long after while we were busy admiring and posting on the beautiful interior, we realised we were given 2 scoops of ice cream and it has been decorated as a bear 🐻!! So cute of the staff who prepared it. Might be because we waited outside for a good 15 mins due to social distancing. Really thankful to the staff ☺️
Back to the waffle. Holy cow!! The waffle is so light and airy yet perfectly crispy on the outside it reminded me of Hong Kong Egg Waffle! So delicious and the portion was well worth the money🤤 paired with the generous ice cream given, it went so well together 👍 I have found my new favourite waffle spot and I definitely will be back to have more of it and try different things 💯
looks better than it tastes. my vote still goes to the honey cinnamon ice cream waffle
Delightful piece of cake!!!!!! It was really good and much better than famous cake shops that we know of.
The cake was soft and airy. The chocolate was the right balance of sweetness and bitterness. The cream was just the right amount to introduce a slight touch of creaminess to the cake. My only gripe was that I wish there were some chocolatey bits in the cream to add an extra crunch to it. But overall love this piece of cake!
Had the ice cream waffles with double scoop (speculoos and salted caramel) for $12.50. The ice cream flavours were both light and paired well with the waffle. The waffle was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside - the mark of a well-made waffle!
Beautiful ambience inside the cafe too! Definitely a must visit for a day out with friends ☺️
Crispy and fluffy waffle with earl grey ice cream and chocolate sauce》$10
A nice venue to chill out over ice cream and waffles. Visited this place after dinner on a weekday night and they had a nice cosy setting for a great chill out session over ice cream and waffles.
"Root Beer Float Cake with a scoop of Vanilla" [$6] Uniquely served in a cocktail glass, good for the gram. This cake is closer to that a brownie than a cake, being dense and firm. If you are a fan of brownies, you will certainly enjoy it. There is a hint of Root Beer while eating it but it did not permeate through the entire cake. That was slightly disappointing as it did not live up to its name.
"Iced Ribena" [$2]
Jolted my childhood memories of drinking Iced Ribena after Primary School. Having this on the menu is a nice touch in a cozy cafe. -Foodier✌🏻
The waffle is crispy and it taste better than the crepe. I am a waffle monster, so personally I find this a bit too over rated. However, the chocolate icecream and chocolate sauce that comes together with the crepe are yummy!
Rating: 3/5
Very light and refreshing drink, perfect for a hot day. The honey doesn’t overpower the whole drink, and it’s a great balance between both components. Overall maybe not worth the $3.50 for this simple drink though.
Ordered an iced mocha because it was such a hot day but I immediately regretted upon seeing the awesome latte art on my dad’s matcha latte. Note to self: only order hot drinks from Wimbly Lu because the art is super duper cute.
The iced mocha was pretty good. Despite how milky it looks, it doesn’t lose the coffee taste and I do think it’s pretty strong (had problems falling asleep later at 12 after drinking this at 8 when I usually don’t face that issue). The chocolate syrup on the sides make for a pretty cuppa, but it’s not that chocolatey despite all the chocolate syrup. Good for a caffeine boost midday, but don’t drink too late in the evening unless you want to lose some sleep.
We got the half portion. Fried chicken was moist and tender but some pieces just had too much maple syrup. The waffle was crunchy and soft on the inside.
Perfectly poached eggs and hollandaise sauce, coupled with crunchy toast and good chicken ham, this dish will give a satisfying meal!
One for sharing as the portion is pretty big. The crust is layered which some may enjoy. All in all, it is an average dessert.
Best Waffles In Town? Maybe a lil Further down along Tyrwhitt Rd @ Lavender , Once you see a small aesthetic retro looking entrance, That's the moment you'll know that you've reached [@wimblylu].

Yeap! Many Crown them to be one of the café in Singapore that batter the best waffles! After trying their Signature Waffles together with their most popular Scoops - Honey Cinnamon & Salted Caramel, I finally understand why!.
